The Day the Earth Stood Still

When One has the power to bring the earth to a standstill, they must be careful with its use. Daddy has such power and look at the result of halting our lives for a week:

 

1. Nice New Site
   
2. Appreciation for all that this forum does for us.
   
3. Hopefully, less grousing and Cat scratching
   
4. A sense of a life lived in the realworld
   
5. The joy of returning after a short hiatus
   
6. Anticipating new posts and picking up on older posts that were frozen in time.
   

Thanks Daddy and all those who worked to get this site up so that we could get ourselves up.

I have to confess that I was somewhat relieved that the site was closed because I was busily packing my stuff and making the move back to Canada.

 

It feels like a personal gift that the first jet lagged morning that I check the site from Vancouver, it is working!

 

It really looks good, and it is a pleasure to be back, in more.

One question, did you take the whole week off or did you cheat+ :-) and how may times did you check to see if it was back up? :-) I admit I looked several times and was equally disappointed every time. :-) Very glad to see the forum is back. And HOW ABOUT THAT LETTER FROM, MER Doesn't take them long to look for ammo... They'll never add up to me, actually it made them look a bit desperate. I was like a rat on a morphine drip. I clicked Forum so fast and so often I killed 3 sets of mouse batteries and had my neighbors convinced I was learning Morse Code!
