Montreal: the 747 airport express bus

Board the bus just outside international arrivals. It stops within steps of most of the major downtown 4* hotels, costs only $7 (a taxi is $38), and the ticket includes a 24-hour metro pass. Its last stop is at the bus station just north of metro Berri-UQAM.

 

There are 2 options for paying the $7.00 fare; both require Canadian money:

 

1. with exact change (no bills), you can pay on the bus.
   
2. with Canadian bills ($20 or smaller), use the automated ticket machine just before you leave international arrivals to go outside.
   
   

On the return to the airport the bus stops in the same place on the lower level; turn left as you enter the terminal and take the escalator up to United States departures.

 

The bus runs 24/7 with a schedule well-adapted to the airport's flight schedules.
