Is it just me?

 

Or does Jake seem only slightly straighter than Sean Hayes? I just watched a montage of him going on and on about "loving" Vienna on Jimmie Kimmel and I can totally see why he and the blonde strumpet haven't been intimate. He should move on to Lance Bass...A much better match!

Hmmmm funny but I have had the same reaction to him since he was first "introduced" to us on the Bacholorette and then on the Bachelor... my Gaydar was going on overdrive but then I thought it was just me.

 

Personally I NEVER understood him picking HER -- and it made me feel the whole show was concocted. On Dancing with the Stars, he showed a more theatrical (though stilted) flair, and thought he should have been partnered with one of the male partners first!!! That would have loosened him up some ;-)))

She told entertainment tonight that they hadn't had sex in 4 months. that he always had an excuse not too. he went on a fast and wouldn't have sex. then wanted to wait until after the wedding, she say he wanted fame. Then there's his story, he said after dancing with the star's he wanted to just vanish back into a prvt life back into florida with her. But she wanted fame, hoping to get tv gigs from that show.. None of the girls liked her during the bachelor. Imo he picked her based on attraction only and it ran its course..

I thought it was just me too! I watched Dancing with the Stars for the first time this season - and from the first time I saw him, my gaydar went off as well, especially when he cried his way off the show. Then all the reasons not to have sex sort of confirmed it all for me. I kind of like him and think the idea of Lance Bass is perfect lol

Interesting but not surprising one bit.

 

I'm curious to see some statistics on how many of these "couples" that are brought together on reality shows such as this one even really stay together. If so, length of time. If not, how long did it last?

 

Just some food for thought.

LUV to Fly with Jake...

 

Rumors have been flying around my work that Jake has applied for employment, been through most of the testing/training phases, and is currently in the future "hiring pool" with the airline for which I fly. I have no idea if this is true, but if he is hired I'd happily take one for the team and "buddy bid" to fly with him...It sure would add some excitement to work to have him in the cockpit. ;)

out of 14 seasons of the Bachelor only Jason Mesnick has married. and he married his second choice..

Lucky Jake~~~

 

Wow he is lucky if he can fly with you... Every time I fly these days I look for a hot pilot that matches your description and age. One time a nice pilot was briefly greeting every passenger so I thought that might be Goodfella69.. Nowadays I give a big smile to every pilot I see at the airport.. :)

Following the Interview

 

Have to say, my voyeuristic side (often under control) losgt it last night as I watched the "break-up" interview of Jake with Vienna.

 

It was painful to say the least - the interviewer seemed to be milking it for all he could, and my reading was that he sided with Jake more because Vienna went public before the TV show had the interview! Cheesy!

 

But more interesting was listening to both sides (in between the pretty bad arguing, which was awkward). More and more I am convinced Jake has a gay side he just is not yet comfortable with (even if it is partially bisexual). He kept repeating that she disrespected and belittled him so much that his third eye could not work. In his defense, hearing her cry about her dog, and his insensitivity (not being a pet lover here), I could see how that could be a definite issue with a couple. The jobs thing too - she claimed he (and the program)??) left her high and dry in LA and she wanted to go home to her family, then turns around and gets a job in LA anyway - meaning this will be another Kate and Jon + 8 saga played out on red carpets for months to come. A telling line concerned his obvious anger - he said he had never been in a relationship where this anger reared its head, but here. Well, maybe because he never was under pressure to do the deed with a woman publically and so this brought out the anger? Maybe??

 

Bottom line - why do we watch these shows? What social benefit do they bring to us? At least the drama shows on the Food channel teach me new recipes!!! Or better it was a comment that nothing else was on last night at 10 here on the east!

 

As for Jake, I will always admire him (sans shirt) with that beautiful smile. Just wish he was more comfortable with himself, and doubt he will ever get settled and be happy until that happens.

I think she is very needy and wants to be babied. I think he is a control freak. I think she figures this relationships gone to the shiter might was well make bank and ran too the media first. I do agree with her that he would have done the same thing if she hadn't beat him to the punch.

Now if the Cousin "Jessie" Pavelka was the Bachelor in question... I would be a hellava lot more interested in how this SOAP turned out! ;)
