I rather enjoyed the Judds when they were together and while checking up on a concert listing saw that they are fixin to hit the road again! Here's the link to their site with all the info http://www.thejuddstour2010.com/welcome.html I hope that they add pacific northwest dates soon but if not Vegas, SF or LA is where I will be seeing them if they don't add cities closer to Seattle.

Hugs,

Greg

Greg, Thanks for the info on the Judds tour. While I was stationed at Camp Pendleton 7 or 8 years ago, I drove down to San Diego to see Wynonna's concert. Surprisingly, her's was one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Not a lot of glitz, smoke, bells and whistles...just a great vocalist belting out hit after hit. She also performed a memorable musical tribute to Johnny Cash who had died earlier that day. I've been an avid Wynonna fan ever since that concert.

I love Wynonna too I haven't had the chance too see her in concert

Me too, Joseph. I appreciate that Wynonna's been outspoken in her support of LGBT causes and vocally appreciative of her gay (and many lesbian) fans....just like Dolly has been.

WOW! This is great news indeed!

I generally just hate it when people produce these dramatic and public farewells, only to keep coming back and sticking their feet back in the water again - before we can even forget that they once left. It generally speaks to a serious need for continuous public validation.

But for the Judd's I'll make an exception! Wynonna is a survivor and the two of them back together again - after all they have been through should provide for a very special evening.

wb lucky. If you are not a mod anymore then how come you are still listed as one for this forum?

He still has moderator status and forum permissions..hence when he posts, he's invisible to the rest of those who are signed into the forum at the bottom of the page.

It's like when he quit the moderator role shortly after getting the forum up. The moderator forum permissions remained. When he quit the board last month - the same.

Probably for when he changes his mind. fewer settings to have to reinstate from an admin perspective.

My dear friends, seaboy4hire and ChiBoy. You are correct to note that I am still listed as a moderator for the Arts Forum. I have twice sent my resignation in to Daddy, and I have announced my retirement in the moderator's forum. Additionally, I posted here that I had retired as a moderator.

Now it is up to daddy to remove me from those posts. I have no control over when he does this. Since I am not posting as of late, it is a fairly moot point. If I were moderating, then I would have moved the Judds thread to the Lounge. It is not that I have anything against the Judds, but the forum does specifically state "no pop music." Often the lines are not clear, and different folks can have honest differences of opinion for what forum a thread is best suited to.

When I decide to return to full-time posting, then Daddy and I can come to a final resolution of this issue. The Arts Forum is something dear to my heart, and I would I hate to see it become less than it could be. I appreciate your interest in the subject, and again commend your interest in this group.
