Site access codes (i.e. Mancheck, etc.)

I haven't subscribed to any site access services (yet).

 

Any recommendations? Warnings?

 

I'd rather only join one, etc.

Unfortunately, you're not going to be able to use only one AVS (Adult Verification Service). None of them have cornered the market.

 

I am currently getting by with 3 but there are still many sites that don't accept any of the ones to which I subscribe.

 

The two most popular are Adult Check and Mancheck. The only problem here is that Mancheck offers two types of membership -- regular and "Mancheck Plus." The Plus is, of course, more expensive but it does give you access to some otherwise pay sites. Some escort sites require a Plus membership for access.

 

Many of the guys in Vegas are using something called FreeGayAVS. Since it didn't cost anything, I signed up. However, soon thereafter, some unauthorized charges showed up on my credit card bill. Can't prove anything, but am suspicious that my card number was somehow "leaked."
