Campus in Vegas??? If the escorts in Vegas are smart they will remain independent and why give a cut to an agency? If they do that, they are only cutting thier own incomes.... Be smart guys ignore Campus!!

Personally, I used Campus a lot until they increased their fees in NYC to $300. I have not used them since. Nonetheless, their strategy must be working because they have a lot more boys listed now, and they appear to be expanding. As I have said before here, I don't understand the economics of escorting these days. With the economy being what it is, I think prices should be coming down, but listed agency prices are going up. That said, prices on rentboy which had spiked up earlier in the year appear to becoming back down so perhaps the Agencies will have to follow suit too.

Campus Escorts is planning on opening n office in Las Vegas. I love the NYC Campus boys and the service Campus provides there. And it works in MYC due to the way the city is layed out. It's a business plan that I don't feel would do any good in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has way too many transient escorts. Only a small group have stayed there for any length of time, Stephan, Adam, Mario, Pacer, Tony, Ryan and a few others. Therefore, Campus would have to lure the current pool of escorts instead of bringing in a new crop.

I do not want to see them open in Las Vegas. Escort rates (the most reasonable in the country) will be near double due to Campus need to earn money. Las Vegas doesn't need an agency, I hope that Campus re-thinks their idea.

Maybe my thoughts will be unpopular here, just weanted to post them.

I'm inclined to agree that Campus in Vegas will probably tend to drive prices up. I've never used Campus NYC but have friends who swear by them. They certainly have some very beautiful guys working for them, but their pricing structure is to the higher side of things, and I suspect it might be difficult sailing, except for the more affluent escort hiring crowd. And I can hardly imagine that some of the current quality escorts in Vegas would be inclined to go to work for an agency, probably at less profit for themselves. I suppose if Campus opens in Vegas, it could allow the independents to ask a higher price, which is good for them but bad for the consumers. Guess we'll have to watch and see what happens.

Bucky and Campus in the same thread! These are a few of my favorite things!

Welcome back, Bucky!!!!:-)

And viva la Campus... regardless of whether their move to Vegas is good, bad, or neutral... some of my favorite boys of all time are there! :9

I have used Campus in New York several times. Their guys are the best and the owners are very easy to work with. Yet I also travel to Las Vegas often and do not feel their formula would work well there. The entire vibe is different between the two cities.

Absolutely...Vegas ain't New York. You'd think that an agency would have popped up in Vegas long ago, but it's never happened. I can't put my finger on it, and I've never hired a Campus guy, but my sixth sense just tells me that a Campus-type agency won't fly in Vegas. Two of my best escort experiences ever were with independents in Vegas that I can't ever envision working for an agency.

It could be because of Vegas’s love/hate relationship with its reputation as Sin City. For the last 15-years or so they have been on this “family fun” tangent and have had very little tolerance for organized prostitution.

I’ve been seeing reports about a change of direction back to the traditional concept of an adult playground, so maybe they’ll back off a little, but I doubt it. If you look past the glitz and the gambling, Vegas is really a pretty conservative town where the mob has been replaced with casino-owning corporations who have enormous influence over local government. I’d bet a paycheck that Campus will not be tolerated by the local authorities and will be harassed out of existence.

If Vegas vice are operating sting operations these days, wouldn't a well known agency like Campus be a sitting duck? Or do they pay protection $$$.

Straight escort services open and close regularly in Las Vegas because of aggressive police policies. I can't imagine that Campus or its boys will be able to continue in business for long. More power to them, if they can.

I don't think protection dollars would fly in Las Vegas :)

I've used Campus Escorts twice. Both times, the escort was "at least" 45 minutes late. The agency kept calling me every 15 minutes to see if escort had arrived. When the escort arrived, they had some lame excuse for being late. I suspected that the escort was delayed due to a previous appointment. In each case, the escort couldn't get it up. One of those escorts is (was) very highly rated and I never reviewed him as I'm positive that the blame would have been put on me. I must admit that the agency people were very apologetic to me for the escort's being late but it still did nothing to diminish my disappointment in the "flaccid escorts"...something the agency is not responsible for. All in all, Campus does have a large assortment of escorts BUT I would never use them again due to above incidents. Their charge of $300 is not warranted.

This is consistent with my suspicion that quality at control has decreased as the Campus rate was increased, and more guys started showing on their site.

Any verification as to whether this is true? Everyone's commenting on this rumor but I haven't heard or seen this anywhere else. I use Campus whenever I am in NY and really like them. I'd use them in Vegas too as it gives me a certain degree of comfort and their guys are always hot. I've had no problems with them. Aside from a couple famous ones in Vegas I would feel less comfortable making an appointment with someone who only had a few reviews on this site. I wish they would open a place in Los Angeles too.

I just wonder how they manage to stay in business for so long, even in NY? with no legal difficulties?

Oh it is true, well at least this is their plan. They have been hangng in AOL Las Vegas Chat Rooms soliciting escorts. My friend made me aware of this, I checked and it is THE Campus we all know.

Now will they actually do it, you'll have to ask with them.

Soliciting is such a bad word. :) Can we use information gathering instead? :)

You see, that type of humor only works in NYC, not Las Vegas ... :)
