Hey guys...

Thinking about making my way down to the Crew Club in DC. I've never been to a bathhouse before (is that what this is?), and was wondering if anyone would be willing to give some general tips. I know you go in and pay $20 for a locker... then what?

1) Is this an athletic club where people get action, or what? What is the official use of the facility?

2) How do you know if a guy is interested? How do you express interest in another guy? Is everyone basically there for the same thing?

3) Are there private areas to go to, or do you pretty much just grab a shower stall?

4) What is a good time to go to meet goodlooking guys in their 20-late30's?

5) How is everything set up?

6) Any other tips?

Thanks. I really appreciate it guys.

Essentially, yes, it's a place to get action, but I think officially they have to be known as a gym or private men's club.

Again, essentially, everyone is there for the same thing, though don't always assume that. believe it or not, when I was in a relationship a while back, I went to our local bathhouse in st.louis simply to use the gym...it was great, no one was ever using the equip. I will say this much for the crew club. I've been there when guy were legitamately working out, then they joined the action later on. You tell if someone likes you the same way you might in the bars...etc with one exception. At a sex club (The crew club doesn;'t have a wet area I believ, so it is less a bath house and more a sex club) guys will leave their door open. If they are on their stomach, they want to be fucked, if the other way, they are either looking to fuck or get sucked....at kleast that is the way it used to be a LONG while ago.

I've been to the CC in DC and it's only so-so as far as bath houses go. There are many that are much better and many that are worse.

1) Is this an athletic club where people get action?

Some bath houses have decent gyms and like Gabriel said, they actually use it as thier health club. I've been to the STL bathoushe and it has a nice gym. But CC in DC is not the case -- its 99% sex. They do have some limited equipment but very few people use it for a gym. It's always good for a workout between rounds while you re-load.

2) How do you know if a guy is interested? How do you express interest in another guy? Is everyone basically there for the same thing?

Like I said above, CC in DC is 99% sex so its safe to assume that if you are there you are interested in sex. Especially if the guy is walking around with nothing but a towell. But just becuase others are there looking for sex does not mean that he is interested in you. And if you are interested in someone, be bold and just ask him. Dont waste your time playing the "glaring eyes" game if you really have an interest. You might lose him to someone else.

Some guys simply get a private room and lay down with the door open. If you like what you see, walk in and ask if he wants company. If he says yes, close the door. If not, leave but don't re-ask or try to talk him into it.

3) Are there private areas to go to, or do you pretty much just grab a shower stall

Most places have limited private areas so spend the extra bucks and get a private room. Hell, you're going there for sex so why mess with finding someone and neither one having a private room.

4) What is a good time to go to meet goodlooking guys in their 20-late30's?

Check the local paper for specials - most have half price nights or something. Never call and ask if it's busy becuase they always say yes even if it's empty.

5) How is everything set up?

Once you're inside, throw your stuff into your locker or room, take off your clothes, and wrap a towell around your waist and you're ready. You simply walk the halls until you score.

Happy hunting.

where is the crew club located? Is it worth just a cursory visit during the day?;-)

14th & P? Isn't that P street beach?

The folks driving over the Connecticut Avenue bridge have NO idea how much fucking goes on down there. At least they didn't *used* to.

Is it as active today as it was 15 years ago? Used to be you could think you were alone, pull out a hardon, and have somebody on it in seconds.

Hmmm, no that would be further west, near 22nd & P St NW.

I don't have any first hand experience there (too shy!) but I understand that it's still quite popular, if risky. I'm sure some other helpful reader can fill us in on the current goings on there. :)

First of all, thanks so much for the informative posts so far, especially from dstud4hire and Prime Muscle. Prime Muscle, loved your website, I'll probably contact you soon about hiring once I save up some dough. Great pics man.

Hoover42, the question I have for you is... what do you mean by "risky"? Much appreciated.

I'm still trying to get a feel for the place. I've narrowed down Tuesday as a good day to go down, because I figure the half price lockers that night will bring in a crowd closer to my age (24). But I'm not even sure on that, let alone what time would be best. I'm sure it varies, but if any locals have any more helpful info, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks.

Oh, sorry for the confusion. My comment was a response to Deej's question about P-Street Beach; The Crew Club should be quite safe.
