Another technique I've seen is to tape a piece of paper over the edge of a table. The subject then pushes his member as far as he can toward the center of the table, marking where the tip falls on the piece of paper.

Lets face it, most guys use the way that give them the longest number. And, if there is a way to measure it to arrive at a given number, it is not dishonest to state that as the length. So we may as well agree that the best way to measure it is the method to arrive at the longest number. If most guys are going to do it that way why fight it?
