I still am not sure.. but as of now, it is leaning towards Rio...despite the language issues, it still seems like I can get more "bang for my buck" there than anyplace else.....

Also another thing you can do is cultivate some friends before traveling to Brazil. Last year when I headed to Europe I made sure to make some friends from gay.com and other chats rooms months before. I met a very nice couple in England whom we got to know each other. When I had arrived we had dinner and they offered to show me around.

 

Cultivating friends a few months before hand my make visiting a new country less intimidating and also lets you have a safety line as well.
