Let's be thankful for this Forum

We are very fortunate to have his forum. I am not sure if it is the best out there, but it certainly has served me well over the years… and for that I am quite appreciative.

 

Now I don’t mean this posting to be an indictment of the other site, but rather a celebration of this site. However, in another thread the competing MER site was mentioned… Ironically I have never even given MER a thought for the past couple of years and was not sure if it was even still in operation… However, like Lott’s wife, and Orpheus I just had to take a peek. At any rate, my brief visit there the other day made me think about why I ultimately settled down here at Daddy’s.

 

Actually, when I first visited MER almost 5 years ago…I was appalled at how mean-spirited some of the postings in their forums were. There actually was a thread started criticizing a poster from this forum… a very jovial and caring guy I might add. They were making fun of him and implied that he was somehow mentally challenged… That was a turn-off and I never returned… Now, I did notice some familiar screen names at the time, so I guess many guys have and still visit both locations. However, I personally have neither the time nor inclination to spread myself so widely… but that is simply the way I am. Consequently, I have no idea what is currently going on over there and that is not really my focal point… but hopefully the mean-spiritedness has abated there. Of course, since then there has also been some nastiness on this site, but I think that the powers that be here have handled things quite competently…

 

At any rate, the purpose of this posting is to confirm how useful Daddy’s site has been over the years and how it has since evolved. In any event, there is no perfection in life… and this forum is not perfect… but it has gotten better over the years… and is definitely a more interesting place to post than it was even a few weeks ago. Also, it is amazing how we have come together as a community to help our fellow posters, be they someone in need with a pressing personal problem, an individual who has a question about a mundane matter in their life, and yes, even if a guy really “needs it bad and needs it bad and needs it now”… Shoot, at times even the simple posting of a hot or even humorous picture has been (to use the old cliché) worth a thousand words.

 

I was certainly impressed when I first joined by how so many guys were so very helpful in making suggestions about various escorts with whom I might be compatible and even those it would be in my best interest to avoid. Now these posters might have forgotten the help that they gave me a number of years ago, but I certainly have not... Since that time some posters have left us but a new group of guys has joined us and they certainly have fit in quite nicely... and have only enhanced this site. It is certainly heartwarming… shoot that sounds so sappy… but that’s the word that first came to my mind so I’ll stick with it… that we all seem to be committed to helping each other… and on a variety of levels. Furthermore, with the addition of the new forums we can even get a better insight into all sorts of fresh and out of the ordinary subjects that might have escaped the attention of certain individuals.

 

Getting back to the main purpose of this forum, we all have different experiences as we are all different individuals, but there are some escorts that have the ability to transcend those differences… certain special individuals… and based on postings here I think we have been able to identify who those special guys are. Plus, there are other escorts who are more special needs types of guys… and likewise posters have been helpful in sorting out those individuals as well. So I thank my fellow posters (and the powers that be) for making this such a great and interesting place.

 

As I mentioned above, this site is not perfection, but it certainly is an informative, instructive, helpful, and most definitely a fun place to spend some time.

I dont think I even need to say. What this site and its members has meant to my life. I have gushed about that enough. It has truly made my life so much more colorful and enjoyable. However I dont take the time to thank daddy deej and Cooper enough for all there hard work. Thank you all three and Barry who I have yet to meet.

I have to agree with the "sappy" sentiments posted here. I also want to thank Daddy and the Admins (Deej, Cooper and Barry) for all their hard work, toiling quietly (mostly) to keep everything running.

 

I owe a huge debt to many posters here for the very warm and cuddly welcome I have received here since I joined a few months ago. My growth here is a testamant to all the friends and posters who have seem me through some "hairy" situations and/or adventures(as little as those are by comparison). Hell, where else would I have learned about "parachutes".

 

Those on the site who have assisted me with escort choices represent to a large degree what this site is all about.

 

On a more personal note, I owe a special thanks to a number of guys who have helped me through some craziness and depression, wild mood swings and yes, some hot flashes during what for me has been "the best of times, the worst of times"...made better by this forum.
