Jason Castro Album Out Tuesday

April 13th marks the debut of Jason Castro's self-titled album. Castro, who finished 4th on American Idol two years ago, was one of my favorites. I look forward to pirating...I mean, buying his new album.

Good god, that boy was absolutely dreadful. Seemed dumb as a door knob, too. Not sure what this says about your musical taste, dear. Is it any wonder it took two years to get someone to release an album from this loopy, dread-locked stoner? His versions of "Over the Rainbow" and "Hallelujah" are so yesterday. Most of the vocals are double and triple tracked. I'll pass (gas, most likely).

Lucky are you really serious or is this a joke. His performance on MR Tambourine Man still has to go down as the worst performance on a final four show ever. I have no respect for someone who just did not even try. As much as Milk Toast Brooke White left the week before, I would have preferred her at least trying to give a credible performance than what he did. He just did not make a little flub he forgot half the song or more likely did not even try to learn the lyrics.

 

The reason it two years to get an album is because nobody took him serious.

OK, my tongue was slightly in cheek as I know his stoner rep and the talk that he didn't really try so hard on Idol, but it's true that I did like him and wish him and his album well.

If I were high enough, I could probably lick his ass, too, and enjoy it. White rasta boys usually smell kinda interesting, especially if they aren't homeless.
