RE: Benefit of the Doubt

Bobby B, That was pretty much my point - the basic thesis that the teacher used poor judgment, considering the prevailing attitude of the majority of straight people, which do tend to make up the majority of the county.

However, since I am apparently unable to piece together four words and make a cohesive, understandable sentence as evidenced by the responses I recived, it was painfully obvious that my co-correspondents did not read a word of what I wrote or I am simply inept at expressing myself as expressed by Bobby B.

Thank you Bobby for at least attempting to shed some light on my elementary attempts to make a point.

BTW, Howdy Doody was a very popular puppet on TV back in the '50's My alleged non-sequiter was a deliberate, simplistic attempt to show that the two, a children's television icon and a children's grade school teacher shared the same responsibility in that they have a greawt incluence on a young child's life and should be expected to uphold a higher standard than the run-of-the-mill citizen.

I want a teacher to educate my children who has good judgement to not do something that might be looked down upon society. It is a calling, much like the ministry and they do have a responsibilty to dedicate their lives to reflect the mores of the communtiy. It is only a matter of GOOD JUDGEMENT and maybe you lose a few privacy rights when you make that commitment.

Hopefully this is the final time I will have to make an appreance on this thread and I pray that someone got my meaning, which is not anti-gay or anti-freedom of expression.

Now, excuse me, I have a Friday night date with Bozo the Clown and we're going to see how many clowns we can stuff up my ass.

Not true, Hoo. I think you're probably overworked and are sometimes forced to take a shotgun approach to some of your correspondence. Sometimes it doesn't matter if the pattern isn't very tight, while other times the subject matter requires nothing less than a bullseye. But don't get down in your cups. I've been known to defoliate an entire forest and never hit the tin can I'm aiming at.

Sounds like fun, but if Bozo drives one of those funny little circus car up there, don't be surprised if the number turns out to be around 12!
