I don't know if its the economy, unemployment, or just the thrill but it seems there are guys you encounter in any given situation who are open to negotiate for their time. While I like to hire from rentboy, m4rn, massage sites, I also like the thrill of starting conversation a younger hottie at starbucks to gauge what his situation is, chatting up the hot electrician, the guy leaving a straight club looking for a cab, etc... While not every attempt is met with interest or successful, I've had a few hot encounters the last two years that were very easy on the pocket and a lot less than rb rates. Anyone else finding the same thing? Or am I light years behind the times?

Yeah, well from what here from there are a lot of people hard up for cash. Look at Craigslist, you'll find a few people asking for "help" or donations.

A couple of buddys up in Los Angeles, cough has had his share of fun at some local places by being generous with some of the younger guys (bathhouse... paid for a couple people entrance fee and locker) and had lots of fun that night.

 

Like doitb4ugo said... I would be worried and cautious about that. I even told him... "being generous if fine, but it also make you a mark for those that want a little bit more than what you are willing to give"... just be careful guys.

Some Experiences

 

This "pick-up" fantasy has me always on the look. A few months back i would see the steamer in my dry cleaner - a young Mexican guy. I'd always position myself and get some good looks at his muscular arms etc> He'd occasionally catch me looking and he would smile. One very rainy day I saw him walking to work and offered him a ride. He hoped in and said: "you're the guy who likes to look". Opened the door and I chatted with him, left him my e-mail. Low and behold he called me a few hours later. He wanted to chat so I picked him at closing and drove him home> He told me he is married but likes "guys" sometimes. I asked him outright how much and he said Oh, no, just fun. Believe it or not but I have taken him to a motel about six times for really hot time.

iv always been very shy. I think growing up southern baptist I had some guilt over being gay. I didn't have my first sexual encounter with a man until I was 30 years old after leaving the military. I talked with this guy on line for about a month b4 I agreed to go out with him. Met him and ended up in a relationship with him for just over 1 year at the time. after that ended this escort on line and never having had a one night stand i agreed too met him he asked me out no charge.. If I think about this sort of approach the first thought that comes to mind is - What a tool - are you kidding me?! But in practice, I find that sort of self-assurance somewhat intoxicating because more often than not those guys are incredibly sexual (though invariably I guess they ARE real tools). I've only been on the receiving end of those sorts of lines a couple of times and without fail I went weak in the knees. One time I saw a guy come into a bar wearing a hat that said "MAGNUM" on it. I know, what kind of guy would wear a hat like that. It's ridiculous. But I couldn't take my eyes off him and before too long he noticed, came over, and said something really stupid like - I only practice truth in advertising...want to get out of here? There was no way I was saying no to that.
