Winter Olympics Closing Ceremonies - 2010

Tonight's Closing Ceremony at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games should be a great show! The musical line-up will feature Canadians Neil Young, Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble, and Shania Twain and others. Organizers of the event have promised several surprises during the closing ceremonies. Nickleback is rumored to be a surprise performer, but that is unconfirmed and pure speculation as of this afternoon.

I can tell you, there was pandemonium on the streets of Toronto a few minutes ago when Canada's men's hockey team took the gold medal 3-2 in overtime vs team USA.

The story I read was that she'd just started the in-vitro process when the invitation came in and didn't think she'd be able to travel in the timeframe of the games.

 

Apparently, the process didn't stick so perhaps she'll be one of the surprises?

I especially enjoyed Michael Buble's performance at the Closing Ceremonies last night. Sure, he's one heck of a crooner, but I love his sexy male swagger and the charisma he projects when he's on stage. I know he's not the Six-pack Adonis Muscle Hunk type, but there's something about the way this man carries himself when he sings that just totally turns me on.

I was just upset that they delayed the closing ceremony so we could watch the "Marriage Ref". Celebs are the last people one earth tha should give marriage advice....lol...

 

but on a final note... I thought it was nice. It had a bit of a circus atmosphere with some over props at times.. lol... although that mime electrician...ouch

I have a big-time man crush on Michael Buble'. After watching him in several interviews (Oprah, Leno, etc.) I like him even more. He's "guy-next-door" handsome, humble, and charming as hell...Oh yeah, great voice too!
