It seems like Ratonesonline is "offline". I am not generally too big a fan of Soytuyo as there are too many "BI" guys there, which often makes for less than stellar encounters (especially if you are not a bottom). Anyway, I am heading south soon, so if anyone has any new recommendations please feel free to chime in. I will only spend a limited time in BAires as I prefer the Pampas & Patagonia (Calafate & El Chalten this time).

The website http://www.ratonesonline.com is back up; apparently the webmaster was preparing the wallpaper which features a beautiful red heart! (It's Saturday, February 13, 2010-- 11:51am in California!) -:) Enjoy your trip to South America; I truly hope to be in BsAs for ten days in April.

...have been to Pantagonia but was on a lovely tour, not traveling independently. When you return I'd personally be interested in your adventures. Perhaps you'd be willing to send a private message or post here, too! Have a wonderful trip!

It was a great time, El Chalten was a cool little town with plenty of hiking Calafate was fine, but not too exciting, the glaciers were impressive. I have come to love the areas around Barriloche most (esp. San Martin de Los Andes). I pretty much avoid BAires these days, I am just not a city kid (except for Paris)....but I almost always find time to go to Palermo to 28 Sport and buy some cool hand made leather shoes whilst crossing town from EZE.
