Today, at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the film I Love You Phillip Morris will play, and I will be one of the lucky ones to see it, as the performance is sold out

The film stars Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor as a gay couple, and has until this week, been having trouble finding a distributor. Carrey continually breaks out of jail to be with his lover. The movie is said to be "daring and hilariously entertaining."

The unvarnished report will be across your desks this evening!

A new one-sheet and trailer for the Jim Carrey - Ewan McGregor prison romance adaptation I Love You Phillip Morris, which is on its way, finally, this Spring.

It's hard to believe that a film with two huge names would have a very hard time finding a distributor.

It's the subject matter - It won't "play" in middle America.

The movie is moderately entertaining. Understanding that the actors were playing real-life people, they did a good job of playing gay without being self-conscious about it. McGregor is notorious for liking to show off his huge dick, either on the set or in the movie itself, but not here.

Carrey plays a scheming con man, and he does a good job with it. McGregor's character is a little less flamboyant, but likable. He's the loving boyfriend waiting at home .
