If you like the films of Tim Burton, "Edward Scissorhands", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Beetlejuice", "Planet of the Apes", "Ed Wood", "Mars, Attacks!", "Batman" and many more, you'll really enjoy this show at MoMA. Full length films are being shown in the MoMA theaters which are included in the price of admission. They are also showing many of the films that have inspired him.

Lots of his wonderful drawings, film clips, props and costumes are on view.

Be prepared to brave big crowds. It's a popular exhibit which is on through April 26.

It was a pretty fun exhibit, perhaps just slightly odd for a museum. They're also having a Bauhaus exhibit until January 25 (lots of chairs). And the regular collection doesn't suck.

I thought the Bauhaus exhibition was outstanding, the Tim Burton was OK but seeing all of that stuff together I could only think of the "sameness" of it all. It was so interchangeable.
