Abba & Genesis

 

Abba should also be congratulated for being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame for the class of 2010. Even though technically they were never a rock band, none the less it's nice to see them being recognised by their peers.

 

In additon it's also nice to see rock group Genesis finally getting their dues after fifteen years of being overlooked by the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Now if only Phil Collins was healthy enough to play the drums ( a spinal injury from the Genesis 2007 reunion tour has prevented him from stepping back behind the drum kit ) and Peter Gabriel finally decided to sing some of the old Genesis classics it would make the cerimony all the more worth it.

 

Anways congratulations to Jimmy Cliff, The Stoogies, The Hollies, Abba and especially one of the greatest rock groups of all time, Genesis for being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Sadly KISS never made it into the class of 2010, but perhaps in two years from now they'll be recognised for their contribution to rock music.
