Boots--yours. I'm doing the Italians. If Zelli comes out with a new style of penny loafer, we need to know. Phtoshoot...essential. Model nude...gazing at the shoes...black and white, matt.

I can't figure out if the magazine should cover this.

Unexplained Blue Spiral Light Seen in Skies Over Norway

http://towleroad.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c730253ef01287638eecd970c-800wi

A bizarre, blue spiral light which appeared in the skies over Norway on Wednesday morning that some theorize was a failed Russian missile but has of course has inspired all sorts of theories remains unexplained:

"The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate. Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre - lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely. The Norwegian Meteorological Institute was flooded with telephone calls after the light storm - which astronomers have said did not appear to have been connected to the aurora, or Northern Lights, so common in that area of the world. Fred Hansen, from Bø in Vesterålen, described the sight as 'like a big fireball that went around, with a great light around it again.'"

Why not just direct readers to towleroad.com where they can watch the video of it?

oh my

I knew you had it in you. Your first pick is so awesome!

I'm thinking Brett Farve in his Wranglers would start things off with a bang.

5 pages needed

Should we include the Blue Spiral Light over Norway? I vote no....that shade of blue is SOOOO last season

DuchessIvanaKizznhugg will talk about hairstyles and jewelry every other month........

For my first column, we'll focus on jewellery (hair will be next month)

I suggest a segment based on the great Mae West quote from "Night After Night" (1932): Says the hat check girl, upon seeing Mae's fabulous jewels: Goodness, what beautiful diamonds.

Retorts Mae: "Goodness had nothing to do with it"

That will be the title of the article: "Goodness had nothing to do with it"

We'll explore the lesser-known stories behind the devious/illicit actions that led to the acquisition of certain spectacular jewels

-The "Napoleon" necklace

-The Indore Pears

-The Millennium Star--203(!) carats

-The "House" jewels that HRH E2 received from Phillip....the ones she likes to wear while playing French Maid...vacuuming and dusting @ BuckHouse

Will include a sidebar on How Harry Winston was on speed dial for at least 3 Hollywood starlets who needed help getting their rocks off, and will conclude with some QVC basics for filling the glitzy/sparkle void over the holidays.

Will need 5 pages (front half of magazine, please); a cover blurb; 1 specialty photographer (your choice);1/2 dozen hand, neck, and ear models;

and a six-pack of brawny musclegods for security on set.

Let's get to it people.....

Honoring our roots, so to speak, may I suggest a monthly Escort Guest Column? Working title: The Family Jewels

Attention assistants:

I came across a dance studio's website and the controversy they had about same sex dancing. It's pretty interesting. Should we feature it in the next issue? You can read it here:

I think the dance instructor should be interviewed. Lucky and perhaps we can even find an author to start the "Gay Spray" script. LOL thanks for a very interesting link.

that's nice

We can put ads for a couple dancing shoes next to our article. Should I look for potential clients? Who is the main maker for dancing shoes? oh that's my job to find out as Editor-In-Chief-Lucky's assistant.

Lucky: Don't bore me with your silly questions. That's all~~

Avant Garde.....

My suggestion for the cover......

This image. No logos, nothing else on the magazine cover to suggest what it's about.

Also, the physical shape of the magazine will be non-standard.

Our prosepective reader will be intrigued by the cover art to pick it up and see what it is.

http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae139/DuchessIvanaKizznhugg/Humour/Avante%20Garde/avant-garde-3-1.jpg

The cover page will be their clue as to what's inside.

http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae139/DuchessIvanaKizznhugg/Humour/Avante%20Garde/Picture1.png

We'll develop an abbreviated "ag" logo as well (....brief is at the designers, samples will be ready on Thursday).

I'm suggesting we include a feature linking our personal transportation options and smart design, and have also included a "collection" of classically appropriate items we can sell via website (aglifestyle.com). NOTE: greatness, need a striking boot for the VESPA.

Am still working on the "scooter" and "rollerblades" pages, which will call for a photoshoot...maybe involving some of our favorites here at Hooville?? Should

also be an opportunity for an underwear sponsor

Nice Job Your Grace

Yes we can do this...

I think Duchess has started out correctly. I like the concept of using our cover page to give the readers an idea about what is the main theme and the content of our first issue and what our magazine is all about. However, I disagree in that we shouldn't have a standard format for our cover. We have to make people recognize, when they see our cover page, that it is "Avant Garde" whether they are in China or Europe.

We have to be creative people... What is our Editor In Chief and other people's opinion on this. I hope we can get some input on this one. :) We might be able to spin off a first class fashion magazine from this site.

"Avant Garde" - Fashion You Can Conquer"
