Sounds like I am becoming a shill for Starbuck's, but tomorrow (December 1) is World AIDS Day and and the company is giving 5 cents (wouldn't 25 cents have been better?) of each "handcrafted beverage" sold to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. If you were going to buy one of these drinks anytime soon, tomorrow would be a good time to do so!

Not after what having just a 12 ounce xmas blend did to my stomach on Sunday morning. I'll donate the money like I have been doing the last few months to Lifelong Aids Foundation.

Hugs,

Greg

I agree - their Xmas blend is like drinking diarrhea. They should pay you to drink it.

Thanks. I didn't know Starbucks was doing that so I'll be sure to have a cup.

The Xmas blend is that bad? I hadn't planned on getting any, but thanks for letting us know to avoid it.

Most of their coffee is that bad. Only two kinds of coffee worth it at Starbucks is the Harrar (which is hard to get in general at any coffee shop) and the Blue Note which is no longer served there because I think that there was some legal issues with the Blue Note records or something along those lines. The rest, crap.

Spoken like a true resident of the Northwest. (I can say that because my sister lives on Whidbey Island). Even here in the DC area, it's hard to get good coffee. Sad but true that Starbucks is one of our best easy to find choices.

I love coffee, so a little jealousy here. I remember once driving around the Olympia forest and stopped by a little forestry shack, mostly a stop off for hikers. Even they had great coffee.

The Olympic Forrest is so beautiful! You've given me a wonderfully fun idea for a good spring ride maybe an over nighter Just across the water from me. It's been almost 12 years since I've been out over there. Thanks :D

Of course I disagree. Starbucks has the only latte worth drinking.

I agree - their lattes are quite good but that's because you're drinking mostly milk.
