Hello all. I recently had a communication from an escort in upstate NY who

has been around for awhile but commented that he's pulled most of his ad's

from men4rentnow and here due to increased "patrol" by police and others.

I did notice some slim pickings on sites; are others seeing this? From an

escorts perspective what are you doing to protect yourself from some type

of invasion by vice or others (not sure what they call themselves). I find

it so sad; was just in Montreal and it's so very open. Here you have to

do lots of searching. I would never betray the confidence of those

escorts I have seen and some are very close with respect to what they

know about me and me about them. Not sure where I'm going but just

checking around. Rocky

When I was taking to Bryan Nash in Indy, setting up an appointment for last week, he commented that police have tried to set him up for a sting more than once. It's pretty obvious that the male escort industry and its web presence has come to the notice of law enforcement agencies. And for some reason they think there's money being exchanged for sex.

Bryan was quite confident in his ability to spot a cop on the phone, and to avoid being entrapped. He's quite explicit in his email communication that there will be no discussion of money during the appointment and that no money changes hands until the appointment is over.

There are, obviously, a lot of things smart escorts and clients can do to prtect themselves.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Are people suggesting that corrupt cops don't exist, who won't go all the way with an escort, exchange funds and then do the deed?

Once again, this is paranoia coming to the forefront and frankly its getting on my nerves. I highly doubt slim pickings have anything to do with increased patrol, but rather some of these sites unscrupulous advertising tactics. For one, men4rent has recently raised their advertising fees, without fair notice to its subscribers. I would imagine thats one of the reasons for the drop out, rather than some made-up B.S. about an increase in vice.

for crying out loud, how many ads did he have up on men4rent?
