What are the dangers to a top who barebacks?

Just as risky as a barebacking-bottom. The male urethra is incredibly porous and easily penetrated by bacteria and viruses so the top stands as much chance of being infected as the bottom.

HIV,HEP-B,Hep-C to name three that I am aware of.If there is any exchange of blood these are all possible. The hepatitis virus is especially easily transmitted. The bottom is more at risk but the top is also very much at risk.Other STD's such as syphilis and gonorrhea are also to be considered.A condom does not gurantee protection but dramatically reduces the risk. You need to be careful of any blood to blood contact...any little cuts,sores or abrasions anywhere can be a problem.

One of my friends that was only a top and believed that he would not become Hiv pos even though he barebacked died a year ago from Hiv after being sick for two years. Being in the medical field I talked with him but he just didn't want to listen.
