Last night about 11pm the BF and I were watching a movie at home when i heard breaking glass-yep you guessed someone was trying to break in,now the burglar alarm wasn't on because we were both in the house-which is a rarity in itself-anyway there wasnt any lights on apart from a lamp which is not visible from the road,so obviously the genius thought the house was empty.

 

Anyway to cut a long story short we caught him in the house young guy early 20's i dont know how shocked he was when a)we caught him within 15 seconds of him getting in the house or b)the 2 people who lived in the house were both cops -bad luck or WHAT !

 

It caused great hilarity when i phoned in to the precinct where i work to get a car to take him in ,it was quite weird i've never been burgled before (i wonder why !!),all the neighbors know us and what we do for a living,I've lived there 28 years so EVERYBODY knows im a cop.

 

Anyway my evening in was disturbed by a trip to the precinct to make a statement about what happened and to be the butt of jokes about never leaving the place.Anyway there's one young criminal who i think wont do THAT again in a hurry :7 .I wonder if he broken any mirrors lately ..........

Rush - you will never make reporter! We need more details. Early 20's? Wow - was he a hunk? well hung? nice butt?

 

Why did you immediately turn him in? This is the type of scenario that hot porn is made of! Two hunky horny cops, home alone, only partly dressed, disturbed by a young good looking 20 year old burgler. Now let's see - what happens next? I'm sure many of our members could concoct quite the story from this basic set of facts.

 

And apart from all that - what was his reaction when he found out who the owners of the house were. Bet he just shit himself :-)

Well he was about 21/22 5"8 about 130lbs slim/twinky longish dirty blonde hair brown eyes quite nice swimmers build as i remember although as u can imagine cheecking him out wasnt the first reaction that came to mind ;-)

 

When i confronted him i dont know if he was more shocked finding people in the house or the fact that those people were both carrying guns and NYPD warrant cards LOL ! surprised doesnt come into it i think the first word he said was SHIT .

 

As the BF said this morning it was a good job we were dressed god knows would have happened if we'd been in bed he could have taken the entire contents of the house and we wouldn't have noticed,the weird thing was that the BF was really pissed if he'd been at home on his own i think the guy would've had the shit beaten out of him, it didnt hit me til later that this asshole was in MY house .

I sympathize with you, as one who has been burglarized more than once. (Lots of funny stories, for another time.) What interested me was the little side note that you have lived in the same house for 28 years. I am pretty sure that I have never lived in the same place for more than 10, and I thought I was getting pretty sot in my ways. (Of course, I am a renter, not a homeowner.)

No. This kid just suffers from real misfortune. Imagine picking a house to burgle and having it owned and occupied by two cops.
