Happy Birthday, Jason

It's very nice of you to remember, Jason. It's been a long time since we've heard from him. I hope that he's o.k. and that he knows that someone still remembers and cares about him.

Who was he--the name is familiar--but almost nothing came up when I googled the name. And there is no retired escort listing on Daddys--unless the listing didn't show his last name.

He was an escort for a relatively short period of time and, for a while, an active member of Hooboy's Message Center. If I recall correctly, he developed a degenerative, disabling disease that not only ended his escort career immediately but also turned him into something of an invalid.

He is remembered fondly for his enthusiasm and love of live.

It's so nice to remember Jason Reardone. One of my regrets (one of many in life) was not to have met him when he was escorting. I was so saddened to learn of his illness. Happy Birthday Jason.

What years are we talking about? Does anyone have a picture?

Thanks,

Late 2000/early 2001 to maybe early to mid 2002

I first saw and reviewed him in May 2001. It was a great experience. Then I saw him late in 2001 just before he found out that he was sick. The second time wasn't quite as special, but I'm still glad I had the second time.

Sorry no pictures. He was 6 feet about 160 pounds, lightly muscled..some might say twinkish, almost shoulder length dark blonde/light brown hair. He advertised as 26 or 27 when I first met him, but later found out that he was actually 30. So I guess if he's still alive, he'd be 37 now.

We became friends outside of the escort realm, a beautiful soul and I'm very sad to have lost touch with him...often wonder if he's still with us or if the muscular dystrophy took him from us.

Any Tampa readers who may have info it would be great to hear from you.

Rick

Luv you MJ

While of course I don't know the actual diagnosis--if it really was one of the muscular dystrophies--and it didn't affect him until his late 20's to early 30's--then it is very possible he is still alive as it would seem to be one of the more slowly progressive ones.

Dedication

Rick, I see from your posts that you've been searching for info on your lost friend since 2003. Your dedication to him is touching. I hope you find him one day. Have you tried searching Facebook?

i have Mark but his real name was pretty common so a lot of hits and none thus far have looked like real possibilities of being him... but I keep up the hope our paths may cross again some day

Well, his first and middle names were really common, which he often used interchangeably as an alias. But his real last name was anything but common, at least in my opinion.

I wish him well and I hope that he's still in good health.

showme has posted birthday greetings for Jason here very year since 2004. I think its really sweet. I found his old e-mail address on an old old thread here in the MC, but it is no longer valid. Sigh.
