This was on DListed today to many people's delight.

It's been up since June but has sort of been going viral (especially after DListed got it)

I was as fascinated as I sometimes find Rachel Ray.

"her other recipes look kind of good. "

You can't mean the pork roast where she pours a pack of brown sugar and frozen orange juice concentrate right out of the can over it? She does have one pasta video where she uses fresh ingredients and whole-wheat pasta and almost tearfully says "I'm trying to be healthier". Probably one of her later uploads. Wish she'd come back to YouTube, she's been gone since June. The comments must have been vicious. (You could upload a video of a bunny rabbit sitting there and eventually a comment on YouTube is posted calling you a "n****r" or "go f**k yourself!")

The video with the oj she was using a crock pot (my fav cooking utensle) so I don't see anything wrong with using the frozen oj. For people on a tight budget frozen oj might be the only option. As for the mean comments I'd bet you are on the money which is too bad cause in her videos she comes across as a nice girl & doesn't seem to be a bad cook over all.

Hugs,

Greg

People on a budget probably wouldn't be able to afford that roast! ;)

There is nothing wrong with any of her recipes. It's just not a style of cooking we an afford to eat much of, not without risk of looking like she does. :( But think about it, you wouldn't sit down and eat the whole bowl of mac salad. A single spoonful on a plate probably wouldn't kill you (and would probably be tasty). The rub comes with whatever else is on that plate.
