The May 2002 issue of OUT has an interview with Paul Lekakis, "Boom Boom (Let's Go Back to My Room)", Bobby in "Circuit", who mentioned escorting at one point in the '90's. Any one here lucky enough to have hired him?

OK---This explains why the follow up to "Boom Boom" was calld "You Blow Me Away." He was so fucking hot looking on that 12 inch cover. That's not to say that I don't have every remix of "Boom Boom" ever made. Although he does sound a bit queenie when he says, "Hey, babe, how 'bout coming back to my room for a little BOOM BOOM," I wouldn't say no if that question were asked of him to me.

He was around escorting when I first moved to New York from Miami in 1989. He used to show up with a famous resteraunter at the Roxy. I was really quite young then (17) and thought it was really funny and ironic that this guy who all of the straight Miami Cuban homeboys listened to in their lowriders while cruising Coconut Grove (this was before South Beach) was turning tricks. As I recall, the whole thing was really sleezy, and seemed "So New York" to my 17 year old sensibilities.
