Mother's Day

In the days when there used to be a lot of gay bath houses in New York, it was said that Mother's Day night was one of the busiest. Then there is the old joke about someone writing on a bathroom wall "My mother made me gay" under that was written "if I buy the wool, will she make one for me". I don't know if my mother made me gay, but if she did, I thank her from the bottom of my heart. My mother is one of the coolest people I know and she loves her gay son and is very proud of me. I don't expect she will be reading this. Even I would be surprised at that. She's cool but...Thanks Mom, you're the greatest. I wouldn't be me without you. I hope you guys feel the same way about your moms.

I think that line went "My mother made me a queer." "Oh, if I buy her yarn will she make me one, too?" ;-)
