This evening I went to an advanced screening of a new documentary titled "The Cove" (http://thecovemovie.com/). It is a documentary about Japan's (and the world's) dirty little secret of dolphin exploitation. This documentary will be coming out in theaters nationwide and I would highly recommend it! It is graphic at moments, but it is more about the bravery of a team of activists who broke through all the obstacles to bring awareness to this issue.

The Cove

You know, I just read about this film. As much as I think the subject needs illumination, some of the scenes sounds too upsetting. as an animal lover, I get much more upset if an animal is hurt in a film then when a human is. I know, confused priorities, maybe. But how we treat other creatures reflects on us as human beings.
