What is it with these requests for incalls?

I dont get it with incalls. I usually dont do them where Im based because Im unable to unless I set aside a day I can host. Well recently I have been getting so many request for incalls after posting on craigslist. Its frustrating because I can only do them certain days but at the same time when I've traveled and offered incalls the entire time, people would plan and then wouldnt show up. Can you believe on my last trip just about every 'real' client that showed ended up being for an outcall. And majoritry of the ones who wanted incalls? Well they wouldnt even turn up!

 

So Im asking some of you what do y'all think about them? I also lived in Miami for awhile and spent the 1st few months of my escorting there and I lived alone and majority of the calls were also out. And I lived near downtown. I dont have a preference for one or the other unless I dont have a car. I understand if someone needs to be discreet, or they prefer to do an incall, but is it that some feel more comfortable at a apartment instead of a hotel? Which is more popular with you, incalls or out?

The first thing that raises a flag is "posting on CL" that website is riddled with flakes and is hardly worth the administrative time answering endless e-mails strings that go nowhere. CL is also host to lots of men who don't really hire but are interested in the idea. Of course that is my experience with CL in NYC, these sites and their usefulness is very different regionally.

When I am home in NY I do very few incalls. I live in an outer borough and clients don't generally like to travel out of Manhattan. When I have set up shop in Manhattan for a week or two a couple times, I have not had enough incalls to justify the expense. More guys requesting incalls do flake, (married and nervously experimenting?) and by not having them available generally, by being out of Manhattan, doesn't lose me out on alot.

For some reason, when I travel to some cities, the majority of calls are incalls. I think it has to do with being in a hotel rather than in my home.

As a client, I have always prefered outcalls to my hotel room. For one thing, in another city I usually don't know my way around and might spend a long time searching. I often don't have a car. Also, I feel somewhat safer in a hotel. And I would not feel comfortable if the apartment were dirty or messy or if there was a room mate. Of course it also more convenient to be in your room when it is over and the escort leaves.

While I have sometimes thought it would be fun to meet a porn star escort in his home and see his photos and memorablia, if any, I have never done it.

Incalls or Outcalls - it depends...

 

As a client, I've done both incalls and outcalls and my preference is usually based on several factors. If I'm travelling and staying in a hotel, then an outcall to my hotel room is usually much more convenient for me, especially as I tend to prefer multiple-hour sessions. But if I'm travelling and staying with friends, then the situation flips and incalls are far more attractive to me then hiring a hotel room specifically for that purpose.

 

When hiring close to home, other factors can come into play. Generally, I will not invite an escort I don't know into my home unless he's very well reviewed (i.e. good reviews from reviewers I 'trust'). Other determinant factors are whether the escort is from out-of-town, the length of the session, etc.

 

What I find interesting is that when you look at escorts who vary their rates according to incall/outcalls, the field is very divided between those who charge more for incalls and those who charge less. So I'm guessing that incalls must work well for some...

 

I tend to agree with Andrew James in that I'd suspect that the 'flakiness' of your clients is probably due more from the source (i.e. craigslist) than the whole incall/outcall thing. Though it's probably true that you're going to have fewer clients cancel at-the-last-minute if you know where they live...

When I first started working independently in Dallas back in the day, I charged more for incalls because I was uncomfortable having clients in my home, so I got a room at a nearby Best Western if I had an incall scheduled. As I got experience, I got over that...and now I have a 2bd apt and have the guest room & guest bathroom all setup for incall appointments (fresh towels, cleanup rags, lube, etc...). Most of my regular hourly business when I am home is incall actually...married guys can't host for obvious reasons ;-)

My first experience with an escort was an incall to his place and it was nearly my last! When I arrived, not only was the escort unshaven, unbathed, and about 30 pounds heavier than his picture, his apartment was disgusting. Being completely new to this, I did not realize that I could have left. Instead, I went into his apartment, had sex with him on the floor of his living room (trust me it was far preferable to the stained sheets on his bed), and then left with cracker crumbs embedded in my ass. Of course, I laugh like hell now when I think of it, but back then it wasn't so funny!! Perhaps that is why I took up with all of the travelling escorts and their clean hotel rooms!

Exactly! I was going to ask if it was because of craigslist, but the only thing is that on my last trip to Mass it was the place to go. It was unfortunate that I used it as a final resort on my last 2 days. Craigslist is also starved up there due to the bad publicity it recieved so I didnt get anyone messing about. But Im back in Dallas and I remembered WHY I was so hesitant to post on there in the 1st place. It is terrible out here!

 

And same here. I dont live right in the middle of town, Im further out. Its alot more convenient for them to have me come to them.

Im knocking on wood but I havent had not one person request an outcall, get me on the road and then cancel while in route. If I get dressed and they cancel, I'll either mark 'em down or tell them next time to come this way.

Well you didnt have to rub it in Jason LOL I do the same, alternating in the area. I only go that route once every couple of months or so. Some just arent willing to pay the extra (as incalls tend to be cheaper anyhow). I let them know upfront what incalls entail and why its more. But I dont blame you, I really dont look forward to renting rooms if its not my 'day' to do incalls

I've known people to have some bad incall places, and they only do incalls! Yet I had someone run off on me because I was in a travelodge; not in a bad area...but just a suspicious person walking around. And the room was spotless!

 

Thats another thing about incalls. Some dont want you at their homes, but then when they get to the hotel they are leery about every little detail. I had someone almost drive off because there were 2 cruisers PARKED at the resturaunt where we simply agreed to meet 1st. And in upscale hotels, its no different. They are afraid of cameras, security and all sorts of stuff. Little do they know the word 'CLIENT GOING TO ROOM #666' isnt written on their forehead! I also dont take calls back to back so even if they did follow my client's every move, there'd be no reason to be suspicious.

 

So yes not to say I dont do incalls, but outcalls tend to be less of a hassle!

You bring up an interesting issue that I only now facing.

 

Like others have said here, if I am visiting a city and have my own hotel room, I always invite the excort to visit ME. I can control the place - have a clean bathroom and clean towels (and soaps or body scrubs whose scent I like) all available. It also gives me a bit of control on the drinking/smoking habits of some guys (if I suspect a giuy is partying or doing drgs, he is out the door faster than he can imagine!)

 

Sometimes, though, at the end of a day working in the city, before heading home to the suburbs, I want to see a guy, and so I usually gravigtate towards those who do IN calls.

 

As one poster here mentioned, it is a bit of a risk. I am not a lover of pets, and escorts seem to have dogs or cats, and do not note the distinct anomial odor in the air (nor shedded hair on the carpet or furniture --- )

 

I have seen some really tastefully decorated spaces, places that made you feel like a special guest in a fantasy world.

 

But I have also seen some pigstyes that had me running for the door as soon as possible I once hired an apartment (with 5 escorts... a complete disaster in Prague), and the apartment owner (one of the 5 escorts), had two young doges everywhere with a disctinly ripening odor on everything, and a bathroom (that we all had to share) that had not been cleaned in months. The "mattress" was like a $5 guestroom off a Banhof in Germany...

 

When I go for a massage, I insist the guy have a professional table, and so those visits are always IN. I have been fortunate to find one guy in NYC who has an immaculate apartment, always clean fresh towels for showering before and after, and an amazingly spotless place. (and an amazingly voracious hole he loives getting rimmed after the massage )

 

A word to escorts out there who do accept IN calls -- if you have roomates, or share a flat... this is a bit awkward for us anonymous clients. I was in one place where the escort and his roomate were arguing when I arrived, and I was on edge throughout. In another place, after we were done, I went to "wash up" and the roomate walked in on me. IN hyet another place, I know 3 guys who hare a place, and have witnessed firsthand when two have to just go out on the street and "wait" until the IN client leaves. That frays nerves...

As a client, when I am in my home city, I almost always go to the escort's place, and I've had a variety of experiences. On the occasions where I was hiring an escort for dominance, bondage and S&M, his place was the logical choice since he had his equipment there. Three of those escorts I visited over the years had actually constructed elaborate chambers within their apartment for S&M performance. As far as I know, none of those three is still in business - I wonder what the dismantling of those spaces must have been like? The one escort I've seen several times over the past few years has an immaculately clean apartment with a great bed (with big mirrors around it), and a clean, well-equipped bathroom. His physical and personality charms keep me coming back for more, but the space is also an enticement.

When I'm traveling and staying in a hotel, of course I will prefer that the escort come to me, since I have control of the space and am less familiar with the cities I am visiting.

There are also a few regular traveling escorts I see when they are in NYC, and these appointments are almost always in their hotel. A side bonus of that - I get to see the interiors of many interesting NYC hotels, which I might not otherwise see. )

yeah I know what thats like and its very annoying. It implies the host doesnt value their friends or client...even if it wasnt the intention. Its either work or leisure. Its one reason I wont be having roommates at my next place but it works for me
