I have a VERY loyal, regular client who is looking to stay in a hotel somewhere in the United States similar to The Black Tulip in Amsterdam...He's thinking Chicago, San Francisco or New York....Does anyone have any suggestions or past experience with a hotel of this sort?

I can't think of any place off the top of my head unfort. But with the right person the Black Tulip in Amsterdam looks like it'd be quite fun! Good luck finding such a place here in the states.

There's an infamous gay guesthouse in Palm Springs called CCBC which is pretty sleazy with a dungeon and slings http://www.pridenation.com/ccbc/

but I'm not sure if that's what your friend had in mind ... ?

I thought about taking him to CCBC (or similar places with public slings, etc), but he's looking to keep it more private (in the room)...

As far as a hotel room, here in Chicago a couple of the rooms at the Ashland Arms have slings: http://www.ashlandarms.com/6.html

Conveniently located downstairs and next door is Jackhammer (whose basement is "the Hole"), 6410 Leathers (formerly Mephisto), and Touche.

 

And of course if one is willing to go to a bathhouse both Mans Country and Steamworks have private rooms with slings in them. There are also a couple of dungeons around town that can be rented by the hour.
