Good Looking vs Sexy

I know ANOTHER thread hey i've not been well recently so they have been backed up in the strange recesses of my brain but anyway another poster was saying about choosing between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt,now both these guys are good looking but IMHO they aint sexy.

There is a difference, you see guys walking the streets in any major city you will think they are much better looking that guys you will see on TV,Film etc but Sexy is another animal altogether.

Sexy to me is more of an attitude the way somebody presents themself the vibes they give off some guys just exude animal sexuality but they wouldnt be seen as good looking or pretty a la Brad or Tom.

What do u think are they the same obviously some guys would have both Hugh Jackman(AHHHH)SORRY :7.

But there are a lot of guys out there who are deemed to be sexy but they look good and thats t 4 me.Brad Tom Ricky Enrique to name but 4 are all supposed to be some of the sexiest men alive but do nothing 4 me at all.I dunno maybe i'm weird (shrug).

I'm with ya on this one, Rush. Pretty doesn't necessarily equal sexy. Sexy has to do with how you walk, how you dress, how you talk, how you come across. To be sexy you've gotta be able to smolder, and neither Pitt nor Cruise comes close to being able to do that! When someone's sexy you can feel the animal magnetism from across a crowded room (to plagiarize from Rodgers & Hammerstein). Sexy is "it." Some people's got it, some's not!

 

One problem with Pitt and Cruise, you should pardon my saying it, is their so Anglo and white-bread. They just radiate bland, in my book. There certainly are sexy Anglos, but it isn't one of our major gifts. Almost any Latino has got more "it" in his little finger than the average Anglo has in his whole body. :-) It's got to do with how people are brought up, and how they feel about their bodies, and all that stuff. Brazilians are champs in this department, but who among Anglos would I consider sexy? Hmmm. Ben Affleck and Jeremy Northam come to mind. I think you were right about Viggo Mortensen, too. He sure was smoldering in "Lord of the Rings"!!!

Hey Tri i know what you mean about Latino guys,my BF is Latino and he can look sooooo hot and sexy just standing around doing nothing :9,i think the Anglo thing could be more of a case of pretty rather than sexy there are a lot of guys who are deemed to be the sexiest man alive etc and i wonder what i'm missing cos they do nothing 4 me at all.

Personally i like men who look like men who look as though they shave and aren't completely smooth and hairless a bit of body hair can be sexy as hell as long as you dont look like something out of a werewolf movie.

Different strokes for different folks i suppose ?.

Ironic. The "across a crowded room" line, mentioned above, is from Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Some Enchaned Evening" from "South Pacific." The song was specifically written for Ezio Pinza to sing

about Mary Martin. Martin was enchanting, she was also bisexual.

 

Like the song, I think we are getting carried away. I work with two Latinos. Both are straight and very good looking. One is just as you describe, sensual with sex (w/ women) always on his mind. I found him

sexy at first, but am now sick of him. The other guy is even better looking and sensual, in a much quieter way. I find him more sexy every day, because he doesn't talk about it all the time. Are there

sexy Anglo guys? Absolutely. I find William Baldwin and Rupert Graves (the latter in the movies "Maurice" and "A Roome with a View") very sexy. I could think of many more example, but not at 7 AM on a Sunday morning.

I LOVE this subject. So often the men that turn us on are not at all what one would call "Classically Beautiful". Farley Granger was very very beautiful, stunning actually. But it's hard to imagine getting too worked up over him, in his day, when it comes right down to it. Why? He, and traditionally handsome men, doesn’t usually smolder. That's where "Sexy Ugly" comes in, thanks CTDick, that was a cute movie and I understand exactly what the character was getting at.

 

Jamie Lee Curtis is not particularly beautiful, not in a Nicole Kidman way, but she absolutely radiates sexuality. If you were straight, you'd know that Jamie Lee Curtis would just be a MONSTER in bed. As far as UGLY Sexy Males goes, think Aaron Brown. JUST KIDDING!!!! No, think....God, I'm drawing a blank. It must be the Sunday Morning Fog. Some help guys??

 

Of course the ultimate, as many have stated above, is the combination of stunning beauty, with Come Fuck Me Now hotness. It's a lot more rare than we might think. A lot of times beauty is just written off as square jaw, and blue eyes. Or, on the other hand, people sometimes just give Five Sexy Stars to someone based almost solely on their ethnicity, which is also a mistake. Sidney Poirtier, handsome. Samuel L. Jackson, would tear you apart in bed. Julio Iglesias, very very very handsome, but to my mind also sort of dull, Adriano Maniquez, well I could have sex with him everyday for the rest of my life and never get bored. He SMOLDERS, his smile is just Sexy as hell. (By the way, I chickened out and did NOT get my hair cut by him last month. Too Nervous.)

 

But I don't think we should write Anglos off so quickly. Yes they're a dime a dozen, and really there's nothing HOT about, say, Billy Baldwin (unless you think dumb is sexy, many do). However John Kessler (don't post his photos, they are HEAVILY copyrighted, suffice to say that he's a fitness model who was naturally built until recently, but now he's 'roided out; we lost another one to drugs, Damn it! He also trains David Geffen and is straight) is an example, again to my mind, of HOT Anglo, but with absolutely classic beauty too. Vincent, below, whom I really want to have sex with, is a natural muscled beauty, he looks Anglo to me, and I think he is sex on a plate. SEXY SEXY SEXY. Great topic, thanks for the thread.
