Bill Clinton is a pig and should be in jail. And in the cell next to him should be that "thing" he's married to.

> ......and here I thought you and I couldn't agree on

>anything, TB, but well said.

The world is full of surprises, isn't it!

We shouldn't be so quick to write people off (me included) just because they have a different point of view :-)

>Now , if he only could have kept "lil willie" in control

>(and I don't fault him for that, btw), he wouldn't have to

>wait 50 years for people to realize he was a very fine

>President.

I never fully understood the whole facination with referance to Billy's little Billy. Most of the poles I read showed that the "man on the street" couldn't have cared less. And if it were not for that evil cunt, Tripp, (whom I'm sure had her own agenda - not to mention the aspirations of Ken Starr) we would never have known, let alone cared.

>Just think what could have been done if he had

>had a cooperative congress and one that wasn't always trying

>to backstab him--look what he accomplished in spite of that.

And think of the good that could have been done with the millions of $$$ wasted on the whole mess. Was that responsible government? Not in my books.

Katie makes $14 million a year and Matt Lauer just doubled his to either 6 or $8 million a year.

I'd watch Clinton do anything.

Good on him!

>take the first 3 monhs just interviewing all the women he

>was shagging when he was the Prez.

Cheap shot, Rush - you can do better than that :-)

although I must admit it would guarantee him good ratings!

I take it you don't like them? Is it because your morals are superior, or do you have other reasons? I would be very interested to hear why you called him a pig.

RE: Clintons Women

If he were interviewing the women he was shagging while pres and before, who would watch a series of dumpy looking broads with their best verbal skills being in conjunction with being on their knees.

If we want to see good looking women we would shift Oliver North from War Stories to Women I Have Shredded With.}>

That Joe Klein Book

The Natural, which I have only read small portions of, but having read Mr. Klein frequently in New Yorker give some excellent ideas of how good Clinton was at communicating in a far different way that that other great communicator, Ronald Reagan. The classic example he sites was the poor black woman, complaining I believe about how she could not afford was it groceries and to pay for either prescriptions or utlities?, during his Town Hall meeting debate with Bush pere and he took two steps towards her before giving his response. On that same debate, George Herbert Walker was clearly caught looking at his watch, obviously not merely wanting to be elsewhere but wanting to elsewhere as soon as possible. That was also the same election cycle that saw Mr. Bush go to the shopping mall and clearly have no idea how a bar code scanner worked.

Clinton is fascinating, there is no doubt about that. But being fascinating and being watchable are not always the same thing.
