Taipei is one of my favorite cities. I've spent months at a time there for work assignments and always look forward to going back. There's not much in the way of escorts there, and the reality is there is no good reason to pay for it with all the cute guys to choose from on gay.com. They love Americans, are very easy to hook up with and alot of fun. Most of them speak very good English. Try to stay in a hotel near an MRT station. I have also had good luck on craigslist.

 

For internet resources, the best site and most up to date for bars, etc. is http://www.utopia-asia.com/taiwtaip.htm There is one massage place that is supposed to be good, and a "bathouse" neither of which I bothered to go to because I have so many good "friends" there. It's on my list for possible retirement living (along with Brazil). I'm sure you will have a great trip!
