"I really love your site. It is such an informative site in hiring escorts/masseurs. Though, I have one concern, are all the escorts reviewed here are HIV Negative? I know there's a lot of risks involve in hiring such services but doncha think it's escorts responsibility to disclose their status and if they found themselves pos, they voluntarily take their profiles down? Case in point: Tony Serrano. I have to admit, when I was in NY, i was really this close of hiring him because most of his reviews were amazing and I found him hot. For some odd reason, my gutt told me I needed to find a different one, so I did. Last week, I found out that he's doing porn for SX video, a gay porn production that makes bareback films. Should this be a concern to everyone if anyone decided to hire him? I would assume that's a standard operating procedure to disclose and retire if tested pos. My concern must have already highlighted by previous visitors/reviewers of your site but I would really appreciate to shed me and many of us who genuinely enjoy your site, some light. I believe hiring escorts/masseurs can and should be safe and fun. I've done with some people that were featured and reviewed on your site and I couldnt be happier..."

Daddy Sez:

Thank you for your kind thoughts. You raise some really controversial issues, and it's a subject that's important enough to address periodically.

After almost 28 years of HIV/AIDS everyone of us should know that "There's a lot of risks in having unprotected sex," That every one of us should follow "Safer Sex" guidelines until you know definitively that you and your partner are negative.

Congress put specific language into the "The Americans with Disabilities Act" about HIV/AIDS for a good reason and I fully support that act. I applaud and support any escort that is HIV positive and is willing to disclose that information. On the other hand, I believe it's wrong to force anybody to disclose their private medical information.

Trusting your guts is a poor method of protecting your health. For example, Tony Serrano is an active member of the "Rotarians for Fighting Aids": http://www.rffa.org/node/55 and the porn industry for the most part is very careful to protect the health of their performers. Check out: http://www.aim-med.org/ Just because the performers were "Bareback" doesn't necessarily mean they were not practicing "Safe Sex".

Finally, I agree that hiring escorts/masseurs can and should be safe and fun!

*RANT ON* I say that after 28 yrs of hiv/aids being around I still get asked if one can get it from kissing or sharing a glass or fork, spoo, plate whatever. I also say if one is that worried about hiv/aid or any other much easier to get std then one should NOT be having any kind of sex be it with man or woman! The only way to be 100% safe is no sex. Quit being chicken shit & talk to your Dr. If you don't feel comfortable being open & honest with your Dr find one that you can have an open dialog with him or her. Come on it's 2009 not 1949 people! Sorry if this sounds harsh but last I checked we were all adults. *RANT OFF*

Hugs,

Greg

P.s. Drs ar there to treat not pass judgement. If yours passes judgement FIRE them & report them!

"Tony Serrano is an active member of the "Rotarians for Fighting Aids": "

Something about that sentence makes my head spin.

My grandfather, a remarkable man, lived from 1896 to 1992. I was often amazed how well he managed to adjust his mental furniture to accommodate the changes in his world. I should have kept better notes. Definitely a case of "not your father's Rotarians."

P.S. The Rotarian link doesn't work.

P.P.S. Why did my post suddenly turn blue?

Curtiss' Question

If Curtiss is new to hiring escorts, his concerns are completely legitimate. Give him some time before the rants start.

Its the escort and the clients responsibility to discuss honestly their HIV status at time of contact. Escorts are not the only people that can be infected or infect others.

For an escort to disclose his status in a public arena might place him in a bad situation in other areas of his personal life. Furthermore, it is also important to practice safer sex because even if one tested negative today that same person could test positive tomorrow.

In fact, even safer sex is not certain protection. I rarely bottom but did so for a escort on this site. He used a condom however during his climax it came off. Since I rarely bottom their was some minor bleeding and obviously that has increased my risk of infection. So one should not even depend on a condom to completely avoid risk.

Safer sex is everybodys responsibility.

Mr. Daddy could have referred him to the archives, where this subject has been discussed at length.

Lucky, just how many years has it been since you've been spanked? ;)

A couple things should be noted. First even when asked some (escort and client) will fib about their status. And second if not asked some will not disclose their status. They figure if they aren't asked they do not need to disclose. Also I want it to be clear that I did not mean to offend folk with my first post. But all the info is out there be it from your Dr or the CDC's website and many other reputable sites.

Greg

Greg, there is a third point. that is, some people don't know their status. In reading Curtis' note, it sounded like he had already made his mind up and was just wanting to rant against people with HIV.

You are correct Lucky. I forgot about that one. Thanks for the reminder :)
