What exactly is meant by the term "Charter Member" as it applies to this site?

 

I noticed today that one guy was designated as such but that it was only his 2nd post. Obviously the amount of activity is not a determining factor.

I think it was whoever was a member when this current new software version was instituted.

Hey - it's no big deal but I joined Dec 26/01, and I think it says you joined in Mar 17 of 02 - unless of course the date & counter thingy is all fucked up. Just a comment - not trying to make a federal case out of it :-)
