I have been noticing that some escorts are jumping on the twitter bandwagon. How does the "client" maintain their Anonymity? What happens when a Senator is a follower on a escorts Twitter page?

I doubt a senator would follow an escort on an account someone could trace. Oh wait, some of them aren't very smart ..you know, the republican ones... maybe they would. (oh SNAP, jk guys).

 

I have a 'fake' email account I use to follow on twitter. Not a fan, so I never use it.. I realize it could be traced, but I'm really not that interesting, so I can't imagine who would bother.

 

What escorts are you referring to that use Twitter. I will follow their asses!

Twittering is just another form of "Advertising" when your "Working It".

Time being the only asset that is for sale, the value of that time doesn't really deserve an eye roll. Some guys work at this several hours a day, the only paid hours are those spent with clients. The value that each of the guys puts on those hours spent with clients is usually carefully considered, not unlike the posts that some of the more restrained posters upload to the MC.

To Twitter or Not to Twitter. . .

 

There are a number of escorts who are twittering. This thread made me curious so I found a number of them via the search function on Twitter. And some of them twitter every five minutes (while they are awake at least). It must be some narcissistic need, I'm not sure. But even the content is a bit odd. Why if you have 300 - 400 followers would you want to tell the twitterverse everything that's going on and every thought in your head unless it is a need for attention. One well reviewed escort actually said in his Tweet, that it was all about "social networking". But what happened with face to face interaction or phone calls. Why is there a need to make sure that 300 - 400 people know this stuff?

 

I have found the best use of Twitter is a way to get interesting news and interesting articles. There are a number of news outlets tweeting and a number of consultants tweeting on certain topics of interest and going down your list of tweets, you get can easily scan topics and then pick and choose what you want to read or click on their links. That I find useful.

I don't twitter but I do do Facebook. I only do these social networking things because my good friends are scattered around the country and it is an easy way for us to keep in touch. Two of my good friends are females who have 6 or 7 kids between them and talking on the phone is not a practicle thing for them to do so we'll post quick hey's and howdy's to each other on Facebook. But back to the topic at hand twittering every few minutes? Come on no ones' life is that exciting and no one including an escort is THAT important (no matter what they think of themselves) to be doing that. I'm not sure how these tweets are received but if my phone was buzzing every few minutes I'd be quite cranky.

I'm not all that familiar with Twitter mainly because I have to put up with it while watching CNN which has become most annoying these days. Having said that, just like any social networking account, isn't the user (client or escort in this case) able to create their own personal identity unique to them and the contacts they link to?

 

I always give credit to those who come up with creative methods to promote and advertise their expertise and skill set among the ocean of others claiming and promoting many of the same things. Speaking of Twitter, there is a fast food wagon that goes around (trying to remember what city as I heard it on CNN earlier this week) in which there are only so many actual mobile wagons that are dispatched in a city. Through Twitter, they communicate their location and the lines to order food from this Mom and Pop shop are hours long and quite popular.

Hey now! Those smartphones are great! They are so much easier to use when it comes to organizing and a hell of a lot lighter to carry around. No need to carry around a day planner, a phone, a camera, ones music (if they are traveling) and I am sure a few other things I can't think of right now. Soon we wont even need a laptop or netbook when traveling. Everything will be able to be done on the phone.

I may get a smart phone--eventually--right now I am upset the Pre didn't include a video camera--but at least for me for now--it is not going to take the place of a computer. I like being able to type on a regular keyboard--and unless the smart phones come up with a way to have a larger 3 dimensional screen that pops up from the base unit--I am not going to get rid of my computer any time soon.

The small keyboards do take some time getting used to. The Pre's keyboard took me a day or two to get used too but now I am all over it like a pro. I kind of wish there was a video camera on the phone too but I think that future generations of the Pre are going to be even better. I remember reading that there is works of a slimmed down not so techie version of Pre in the pipeline. Think of the Pre's version of the Centro. I kind of hope they scrap the idea and go for a more advanced version with more useful bells and whistles will come out before the Pre light. I look forward to the day when I can leave the netbook and laptop at home and not carry them around with me. It will make travel at least that much easier, not just for me but for millions of other travelers.

I've heard so many things about the 3GS but just a month ago I was also told by AT&T that there would only be a software update so... who knows now.

I have been reading up on the hype that is going on about the new 3GS and it was my understanding that they did add a lot of multi functional features but who knows. I've heard so many things about the 3GS but just a month ago I was also told by AT&T that there would only be a software update so... who knows now.

 

I just bought an iphone 3G 16GB less than 2 weeks ago. At the time of purchase, I was told there was a new software update coming that provided a landscape keyboard for all functions (not just web browsing) and a few other enhancements over the old software. Then on Tuesday the new 3GS was announced which offers a 32GB version. Apparently, the 3GS also offers a video camera and editing and voice dialing and longer battery life.

 

I contacted AT&T and fortunately I can trade my phone in on the new version when it's released. I don't really care about the video or voice dialing option, but the 32GBs will allow me to eliminate carrying my regular Ipod with me as well.

 

According the Apple web site, the iphone/itouch software update is available for download on June 17th. It is my understanding that it will add all of the new enhancements to your existing equipment except for the video camera and the voice dialing. The landscape keyboard will be a definite improvement. There's a video on the Apple web site as well for the new 3 GS.

So the thread got side tracked. Certainly not the first time it happened and certainly won't be the last time that it happens. No need to have ruin your day. Although I agree, the whole thread probably should have been in The Lounge from the start.

 

 

There's no causality between this thread (or others like it) and your second statement. The posters that posted photos always compalined that it was a lot of work, which is a more likely reason as to why they stopped posting photos. Plus the stricter rules as to what they could post in connection with Daddy's rules. But if you miss them so much, there's nothing preventing you from giving it a try yourself.
