Kara DioGuardi Outs Adam Lambert. Was he ever actually in?

The blogosphere is boiling over with faux outrage over AI judge Kara DioGuardi "outing" Adam Lambert. The arguement on one side is...was he ever actually in? What's the big deal?

 

The arguement on the other side is that she had no business outing him that he should have been able to choose the time and place of his coming out.

 

Did DioGuardi do something wrong here?

Apparently Adam wanted to do it more formerly in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone where he calls it a non-issue. So we'll see what he says there.

I think the more correct is Adam is under contract with Rolling Stone to do it in an upcoming issue. The deal had to have been inked months ago and sad for them it's less of a coup with the runner-up than the winner. Why else would he play coy in dozens of interviews and not with them.

IMO it was none of her business. He should have been able to choose the time and place of his coming out.
