Everyone should watch Rachel every day. She is great. Lots of news and very witty.

Discharging these guys a few years before retirement is nothing less than vicious. Being a pilot, Col. Fehrenbach will do O.K. Others, especially enlisted men whose military skill sets don't readily translate over to the civilian economy, are left in a god awful finantial situation. The years their civilian contemporaries spend working their way up to good paying jobs, military gays spend learning their MOS. They often need those pensions and medical benefits to avoid a life of poverty. The callous contempt the services are showing these guys makes me crazy furious.

 

It's times like this I wish I had better writing skills. I can't find the words to convey the practical every day impact stealing his retirement can have on a working class gay guy.
