Oh, man I love those restraunts!

Ruth Chris has been feeding beef-eaters well (and I love the joints!) for many years.

Rest well Ruth Chris.

Her name was Ruth Fertel. She had a voice like Lucille Ball's (originally soprano, but after about 100,000 Camel Straights it became basso profundo.) Great restaurants. RIP.

Dear John, (even this makes me chuckle) So very sorry to hear of the passing of your favorite provider of prime beef. She must have had a special eye for the cut, age, and preparation of her main offering. Butt then I guess you do to. I have to reflect: for the quick fix - it's the big Clown Ronald. . . two all beef paties, special sauce; then the casual. . . those places with the bloomin' onion and lots of cute waiters; butt then the ultimate, purrfectly prepared prime beef (leave off those creamy and dangerous sides{spinach, guys. . . nothing more}) and a nice side dish. . and you have Ruth Chris without all the cigar smoke of Morton's. Johnny. . . give up the 20-pack weed.

Thanks for my indulgence. BN

Thanks for your input concerning me & my beef but I didn't say it was my favorite. I just thought it worth mentioning since I didn't know who was owner of the chain. The rest of your comments...I have no idea what you are speaking about but this IS the Message Board so it's all about talking shit:0)

All the times I've eaten there and I was never offered a joint with my porterhouse. damn

Good beef indeed... Ruth's and Morton's.

I only went when with clients, and I could expense it all. Kinda costly for casual dinners or a family thing. The beef, while big and high-quality, comes alone.
