Photo Problems Need a Techie

This happened today ... I am unable to upload any photos whether it be to email or say a myspace account. I always receive the error message file cannot be found.

 

Some basics: using Vista home edition on a Dell PC. Many of the photos are taken with a screen capture program called Snagit. I have never had an issue with this progam or uploading pics at all.

 

Any suggestions on this problem?

Check the file extension (the part after the file name and the period) and make sure it is a .jpg file. I use Snagit at work and sometimes it saves files in a proprietary format and other times as a gif or a tif.

Thanks but I actually figured out the root of the issue. My Firefox browser is blocking the upload. Maybe someone here knows how to unblock it?

 

I just discovered no problem when I use IE 8
