Locked Up

I just finished watching a flix I rented from Netflix named Locked Up, (Gefangen in the original German film) from 2004. It’s a multiracial prison love story. Netflix summarizes it thusly:

 

Love and lust seem to find a way to bloom despite the circumstances. Imprisoned for credit-card fraud, Dennis (Marcel Schlutt) is ready to give his life over to misery until he meets Mike (Mike Sale), a fellow convict who catches Dennis' eye. Before long, the two arrange a series of liaisons for sexual fulfillment, all under the voyeuristic gaze of prison guards and other inmates. But this erotic tale is no ordinary love story. …

 

The listed writer and director on IMDb.com is Jörg Andreas. IMDb also indicates that there is an alternate, x-rated version of this movie entitled Eingelocht (or Guilty Pleasures in English) with at least one cast member appearing only in the alternate version.

 

One of the DVD added features is a cast interview in which both Schultt and Sale express some affinity with male porn. Another feature is series of deleted scenes several of which are more graphic than the version of the movie on the Netflix DVD. Intriguingly, Schlutt, in his interview, is wearing a CAZZO tee shirt. Moreover, TLAvideo.com lists a German porn video “In The Hole” with the same pictured cast (although Mike Sale is listed as Nelson Keys in the porn version) put out by Cazzo Film.

 

The Netflix version is maybe worth the 90 minutes it takes but I’m wondering it the In The Hole Version” is worth tracking down.
