After last night's episode, I'd suggest they adhere more to the original source material. Let's hope that the expostion is out of the way. IMO the show needs to illustrate the inner conflict between David's ambition and lust versus his faith.

The promos for last night's episode of Kings showed Prince Jack taking David Shepherd out on the town to party. Well, the guys go clubbing and we finally get introduced to Jack's gay lover. Not a happy meeting as the Prince is angry about him being at the Club and has him thrown out... Well, this much anticipated night out with the boys turns out to be nothing more than an act of deception on Jack's part by paying one of his men to take a picture of David kissing another women. Reason being, Jack's sister likes David but her parents have other things in store for her. So, of course, she sees the picture and appears hurt... Day time soap is now on Sunday nights.

Perhaps it would have been better to have produced this show for HBO where more sexual action is permitted. Last night's episode really wasn't that good.

PRINCE JACK on KINGS

I do agree with Cooper..This Show definitely would have been better served on HBO. But alas' also probably more expensive to Produce.

I do hope the Plot line does improve? But I have a feeling at best ReRuns will show up on the LifeTime Channel? They do appreciate "Guy Candy" over there. :D

Speaking of the Lifetime Channel..Whatever happened to THE HUNK..Jesse

Pavelka who was all over that Channel for Valentines Month? ;)

Kings Dethroned from Sunday

It looks like Kings days are numbered on NBC. Due to the lower than expected ratings the program is being moved to 8:00 PM on Saturdays. The change starts this week. Nothing like moving a low rated show to the least viewed night of the week to ensure it's cancellation.

Another sign of a ratings apocalypse could be that Macaulay Culkin joins the cast this week. This from the same network that ruined The Book of Daniel in 2006. Oh well....it was a novel idea for a network program.

Unfortunately they are going to burn of the 12 total episodes on Saturday night and then that will be it due to poor ratings. Sad that Americans prefer reality tv than real scripted television.

Macaulay Culkin plays the King's nephew.

Kings gets Exiled

NBC moves 'Kings' to summer by Nellie Andreeva

NBC's "Kings" is on the move again, this time to summer.

After originally scheduling the mid-season drama on Thursday, launching it on Sunday and moving it to repeat-laden Saturday night after four low-rated episodes, the contemporary King David drama has been pulled off the schedule.

Starting this Saturday, NBC will air reruns of "Law & Order: SVU," freshman cop drama "Southland" and "Law & Order."

"Kings" will return to its Saturday 8 p.m. slot June 13 and will finish its run through July 25.

Kings Exiled

Although the NBC mini-series KINGS is being banished to the summer line-up, there were two co-stars that caught the eye of many.

I'm thinking KINGS would have done better on the Supernatural/Superman/Reaper Channel Age Group Wise.

It's probably best watched in a Weekend Marathon run on a Cable Station in the future!
