Well Gents the time has come. This wasn't something that happened suddenly and without any rational thought put into it. But I have decided to leave Las Vegas.

 

I have been planning this for some time now and after this last thursday when I was assaulted by two guys in my apartment, I have decided to quicken the pace of my departure. It wasn't a very good experience to have to go through but it definately was an eye opener.

 

I will be leaving Las Vegas and going back to Santa Fe New Mexico to stay with my mom for a while. She has her own place for the first time in her life and is lonely. This time spent with her will give me an opportunity to let my mom into my world and personality as a young adult. I have a job as a bartender lined up at a nice place there in Santa Fe and plan only to do escorting on a parttime basis.

 

I will admit that it's extremely scarey to enter this new chapter with no insight as to the outcome of the story. But that's the way life is.

 

This move will take place by no later than the 9th of April.I will still have my email and should it change, Hooboy will be informed. If you can Hoo, move me over into the New Mexico bracket.

 

Well that's whats going on. Hope everyone else is doing well..

We haven't spoken on this board previously. But I've noticed your posts and always thought kindly of you.

 

I'm really sorry to hear about your assault. I've been assaulted myself and know how hard it is to recover. I imagine it must be harder because you were targeted both for being gay and an escort. I also totally agree with your decision not to pursue this with the police.

 

Good luck to you. A sojourn in Santa Fe might not be such a bad thing and in my experience, it's also been rewarding to relate with my parents on an adult level so it's an interesting journey you're embarking on.

Jizzd, I am sorry to hear that you went through an assault as well. After going through it , I don't think I could have ever imagined how it would change me. All I can think of is "what If?" What if I hadn't fought as hard or screamed as loud? What if they were given the chance to do whatever it is they were there to do? They're thoughts that I wish I could erase from my mind but it's seems to be a bit more complicated than that.

 

I also spend hours thinking of who it could have been. Who hates me that much to take the time to email me a week in advance ,and then follow up with another email, and finally call at the time of the appointment? To me it seems like alot of effort for someone who is just picking some random escort to beat. Is it someone I know? Is it just some gay/escort bashers that saw my ad online and said "He'll Do!"? It's questions like these, that remain unanswered, and that have been plagueing my thoughts.

 

As for the police report issue...I didn't contact them due to the fact that all I have is an email address that no longer exists. And the emails that I would have to show to the police are filled with instructions as to how our appointment will go. This includes sexual details and states that money isn't an issue. So that is why I chose not to pursue that.

 

Well I actually only wanted to drop in to say thanks and to let you all know that I'm doing better. But now it seems to have turned into a novel.;-)~

Mike, I don't feel you were selcted at random. From the bits and pieces I know I feel that the person(s) involved were sexually attraced to you. I believe this was some sort of sick fantasy and/or because of the attraction this was some sort of rape attempt. It appears that there could have been easier ways to do whatever their objective was. I mean had they just set up a typical incall appointment with you, you probably would have handled things the same way. The fact they went through this elaborate fantasy suggests a sexual perverse personality.

 

The main thing is you're OK and hopefully in time this will be little more than a bad memory.
