The Boardwalk stripper bar in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is currently enjoying one of its best seasons. Last night, a Thursday, there were more than 30 delightful dancers. The bar was not crowded, but there was a pleasant crowd, and the dancers had time and the desire to linger with customers. There were no extreme twinks nor overly muscled guys; the dancers were mostly of the young swimmer's build to somewhat muscled, and all seemed to be pleasant and fun.

Three of the Montreal dancers from Taboo were present, to enjoy the Florida winter: Sammy, Diego, and Jacques. The brothers Jacob and Jeremy were at their best. Jacob has toned up and was friendlier than ever and very generous with himself. Jeremy was cute and fun as always.

There was a great contingent of Brazilian dancers last night, most of them light-skinned, young, smooth, cute, and affectionate as Brazilian guys can be. They speak English well. Rod is a stunningly cute young physical therapist. Celio was a very sweet tall dancer with silky smooth skin and very affectionate. Syrup (?) is as cute as a twink can be, but not skinny. He has a perfectly round and delightful butt. Peter was tall and very smooth and very sweet also. There were also some more fully muscled Brazilian dancers. John from Colombia had a beautiful smooth, toned body, and at a certain angle, his face looked like Phil from Campus. He was a very good dancer and nice to talk with.

Jamie , a firmly smooth muscled dancer, is always a charmer and knows how to please customers. Franco looks better than ever, and to me, he seemed milder and sweeter than ever before. Sean from Amsterdam is tall, dark, smooth, and very nice. Shawn is a nicely smooth and muscled strawberry blond. Michael with all his tattoos was present.

There were twice as many dancers as those listed above, but they were on the more muscled model. Many of the dancers were availble for take-out if you ask nicely. Admission to the club is free before 9:00 p.m., and there is a cover charge of $5 after that. Entertainment is continuous and dancers perform on four stages in the large room and rotate every few songs. When they are not dancing, dancers circulate in the room and chat with customers as they slip dollar bills into their briefs. Some dancers, like Jacob and Jeremy and Jamie, perform on the bar for some special views. Wednesday night is the talent show and auditions for potential stripper/dancers. These evenings, there are usually groups of twinks who stop by. Saturday night is the busiest night of the week, and there are often more than 40 dancers.

Customers, dancers, and bartenders are friendly, and you can always meet other people at the Boardwalk and have a very enjoyable evening. This would be a good time to visit if you enjoy delicious nearly naked male eye-candy up-close; the selection of dancers is outstanding.

Having shared time with Karl at Boardwalk last night, I can strongly endorse his report. Things were so good that we actually had to chase dancers away in order to have a chance to talk and catch up on what's been happening since my last visit south. (These were dancers we really liked -- not the kind that you want to get rid of for other reasons.)

Things were so good, in fact, that I got little more than an hour's sleep before getting up to catch my flight.

Karl neglected to mention LJ, an adorable, sexy Puerto Rican studying criminal justice -- perhaps because he's saving him for himself.

B'walk on Wednesday (audition) night was as least as good as last night. There was an outstanding group of 6 auditioning twinks who had just come to town to live in a "cam house". They were friendly as all get out at the bar -- didn't even care about the "tip" part of "grip and tip", and did a fair amount of "gripping" themselves. One of them caused a minor sensation when, in (pretended?) ignorance of the rules, he bared it all during his audition.

My [a href=http://m4m.m4m-forum.org/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=18&topic_id=14851&mesg_id=14851]massage skills[/a] came in handy again. One dancer enjoyed what I was doing to him at the bar so much that he invited me into the back room so I could give him a proper massage, and then paid me back with a free lap dance. If only the B'walk back room were like Campus!

All in all, this was the best time I've ever had at Boardwalk.

Have they made any changes to the private area? I was there in the fall after the renovations and absolutely hated the uncomfortable massage chairs they had installed in the room.

No, it's still furnished with the uncomfortable massage chairs; doing a lap dance there is a waste of time.

However, Jamie, who is also a professional masseur, convinced me to go back there with him Wednesday night for a straight massage (uh...well... he did position my hands strategically :-) when he brought my arms behind my back to work on my shoulder blades). I figured that his per-song rate came to about what I would normally pay for a good massage, and he was very good. The chairs are OK for massage, but we agreed that a table would have been better, especially for working on the lower back.

I'm once again baffled by the raves about Boardwalk here... I just can't reconcile what I see when I'm there with the wonderful experiences I read. I spent several weeks in Ft Laud this winter and found only 1 dancer at Boardwalk (John from Columbia) that was at all interesting. (Although I'm at a loss to see ANY similarity to Phil from Campus.) Oh well... perhaps one of the mysteries of life. My money continues to go to the dramatically more impressive talent at Stock and Swinging Richards.

I think "raves" may be too positive a characterization of what I wrote above (reread my response to snoopy). Most of my previous reports on B'walk were much less upbeat, and, IMHO, FL doesn't hold a candle to Montreal.

This past visit was quite a bit different, though: there were 2 good nights in a row with a lot of very attractive dancers who were more than friendly, both in- and outside of the bar.

In any case, I never assume a good or bad report I read will necessarily hold true when I visit -- the quality of life in the strip bars in both FL and Montreal can vary substantially from month to month and even from day to day.

I really wish I could agree that BOARDWALK is Very Good... really, I do! I'd spend a lot more time in FL if it were! I thought some members might actually go to Boardwalk after reading what has been written here and they deserve to hear various opinions.

I've tried really hard to spend my money on the guys there but most nights just have to leave because I'm so turned off. Yes, I'm a selective customer... I feel that if I spend my money on a guy he should be someone I'm excited to see. Just average simply doesn't do it for me.

Unfortunately... I will probably have to continue my recent habit of importing talent from out of town when I visit Ft Laud... perhaps Boardwalk would benefit from another appearance of our beloved Eddy Eddy Eddy from Montreal. They certainly seemed grateful last time!

There is room for differing opinions on this board and I hope other posters can take my comments in the spirit intended.

I agree - I can't imagine making a special trip to FLL just to visit B'walk or any of the other strip clubs. But if you need to be there for other reasons anyway, it can be a pleasant way to pass some time.

>I've tried really hard to spend my money on the guys there ...

I spend very little at B'walk, since I won't do lap dances in that back room -- just the price of a drink or two and the $1 tips to the boys I like who hang around to caress and be caressed. Much less than I spend on a night out in Montreal. The out-of-club prices for these guys has been quite reasonable, really at the Montreal level -- either times are tough, or I've developed better bargaining skills.

There have been times that the dancers at Boardwalk have been excellent and other times, not so much. Agreed FLL is not Montreal, but then again, Montreal is in a league of its own. FLL has a variety of male strip clubs...you don't normally find that here in the good ole USA. We must support our strip clubs...they already must deal with rising property values, uncooperative gov't agencies, and the economy. We have already lost the DC clubs and the Gaiety. Let's keep the FLL clubs alive! While you can have a couple bad nights at a stripclub, all it takes is one "favorite" dancer to make the night complete!

Happy Tipping!

I couldn't agree more! I just think it'd help these clubs stay in business and overcome the obstacles you mentioned if they put forward a lineup worth spending money on. They are able to do it in Atlanta with a much higher level of success. I'm glad Boardwalk is still around and hope it returns to its former greatness. I'm just saying that to call it "Very Good" at this time is setting the bar way too low!
