Planning trip to Montreal--advice

It is time to plan my next trip to the wonderful city of Montreal. I am going to arrive on Wed May 2, and leave Mon May 7. I have been checking all the usual travelsites that I know of (orbitz, expedia, travelocity, cheaptickets, cheaprooms) as well as airline websites and have found a great difference in prices. I prefer flying on NWA so I can add my miles up...Found what I believe to be a very good deal, staying at the Delta Montreal.. I stayed there three years ago on my first ever trip to Montreal. My question is this... For the same exact flight and same exact hotel, I have found prices from $886 to over $1500... Does anyone know of any other reliable travel sites that offer low prices? I figure the more I can save on hotel and airfare, the more I will have for "the boys"...Thanks in advance for any help..AND.. if anyone else is planning to be in town that week, please let me know, I would love to meet up..
