I know that in the past this topic has already been discussed,but I can't find it in the archives...

I heard that many escorts chat in some AOL chatrooms....what are they? And how easy is it to access them??

Deja vu. Unless I'm mistaken, HooBoy just wrote something about this in the email section. I believe he cautioned against attempting to locate an escort this way. In my experience, it can be a good way to find someone "new" (that is, new to me) and then I can see if he is listed here or at least has a website. I've never felt threatened or in danger with any escort I've met through AOL (and, in fact, met my favorite escort through AOL a year and a half ago) but the problem I have had is encountering what I presume to be a number of fakers. (I can think of no other reason why an escort would suddenly log off right when you're ready to commit to a time/date or who would suddenly become very vague and put off trying to schedule something, this after chatting for a while and NOT sending a picture of myself.) I even once had the experience of calling a guy to set up a meeting; he said to call him back in a couple of minutes as his roommate needed to use the phone. When I called back 10 minutes later, my call was forwarded to the local police dispatch number (or at least that's how the phone was answered, in a woman's voice). THAT was certainly a creepy experience.

 

Anyway, on to the point of answering your question: Look in the "m4m" rooms for the city you are in (for example, "sanfranciscom4m3") or look for the room "companionsm4m". Of course you can also just list all of the chat rooms created by users and scroll through to see if there are other obvious choices (such as "NYC Companions m4m"). You can either try to get into the room or just list who is in there.
