Cupids in Miami can be a hit or miss, do you feel lucky kind of experience. First there is a cover charge ,on the weekends anyways ,of ten dollars. If you are shy about disclosing your true identity to the strip club personnel, keep on driving north to Johnnys, because you will be required to show picture ID upon entry. Once you have passed GO , you'll find a barroom with a lighted stage on which the boys (or men) dance strip tease style.

The quality of the talent can vary ... the dancers are mostly in their early 20s to 30+. Some are attractive depending on your tastes, too many of them have no business taking off their clothes in public though. If you are a twink fan you will most likely be dissapointed. It seems to me that at least half or more of the dancers are straight..although I have never taken a formal survey.Some of them are fairly aggressive about recruiting clients.

If you do happen to fall in love at Cupids there are facilities on site for you to express your true feelings to your new love interest. There are booths in back (or a private room at added cost) at a cost of $60.00 for an hour. The bar seems to take no mind to what two consenting adults do while in the semi privacy of their curtain covered booth. The boys ask $100.00 for their time. Once you have a date I would suggest some prior negotiations before retiring behind closed curtains... you may wind up spending $160.00 to discuss Kafka for an hour instead of having some hot stud make you feel like you are at heaven's gate..

Overall, it may be worth stopping in for an hour having a drink and looking over the talent. All you need is just one hotty to send you home with a smile on your face and an empty wallet.

I was so excited when this place opened up - a strip club in a city that has some of the most beautiful men anywhere!!!

I've been completely disappointed every time I've visitied.

I always have the urge to go up to the manager and ask if anyone with a penis can dance there... I don't know how some of these guys muster the nerve to get on stage!

I would have to agree. I have been to Cupid's West Palm Beach and Cupid's Miami a half dozen times each and it is certainly not the Gaiety or Montreal or anything of the sort. Most of the dancers are repellant. Currently West Palm Beach has two very well hung dancers Stretch (incredibly thick Latino but tries to hustle you for every penny he can get once he gets you to VIP) and Bogart who is also very thickly endowed. Neither have particularly nice bodies but they are o.k. In Miami I have yet to see any dancers who ring my bell. They are usually better looking than the dancers in WPB but that really isn't saying much.

 

Boardwalk in Fort Lauderdale has a nice assortment of hotties but the dancers don't get hard like in the old days. . .Does anyone know why that is?

 

Save your money and go to New York or Montreal.

Hey, I can't argue with the experience the other posters had, but maybe a little "equal time" is due here.

 

I've been to Cupids Miami and WPB and have had a great time at both places. My most recent visit was last May. Since WPB is a two-hour drive from SoBe, I decided to give the Miami club a try for the first time. As with both places, I was cordially welcomed, and made friends with several of the dancers. To me it's fantastic that they dance nude, and are very friendly when you approach them on stage. Even though I know that privates generally don't meet the expectations they promise (in any place) I spent a good amount there on this feature. The only thing that was a bit obnoxious about the privates was the addition of a "clean up" fee. Come on, is that necessary?

 

I'm hoping to make another trip to South Florida again in May of 2006. I will definitely visit Cupids. Hope you do too.

Is it worth a visit? Absolutely. As the other responses have said, it can be hit or miss, but all it takes is one dancer that is your type and you are set! Fri & Sat are best and I would suggest going between 10 pm and 1 am when both shifts of dancers are still working. Since cupids is a private club they do require ID but the procedure is quick and painless. I was there in late Sept and they had some new dancers including a tall black dancer with a monster dick who is doing some porn. He gave a very nice lap dance for $20.00 and his dance lasted for multiple songs. I also did VIP with a white dancer who was str8 but certainly was friendly in VIP. Was not charged any type of "clean up" fee which sounds ridiculous.

 

On weekends the membership fee can be $10.00 and there is a 2 drink minimum but you can tip the nude dancer on stage as little as $1.00 for a nice feel of his body and hard cock. Not bad. Of course the more you tip, the friendlier the dancers. Baby Boy is always friendly and hot as are some of the others. Agreed, there are some duds, but usually there is something for everyone.

 

I think Boardwalk is better but alas, no nudity. So cupids is always on my list when I'm in So. Fla! Support your local strip club!
