Montreal...it ain't just strip clubs, II

Two sightseeing recommendations which I didn’t have time for on previous trips:

 

1. The Museum of Contemporary Art (http://www.macm.org/) at the Place des Arts. Wonderful exhibition space and very interesting shows and permanent collection.

 

2. Canadian Centre for Architecture (http://www.cca.qc.ca/). I found the special exhibit too specialized for my taste, but the suite of Victorian rooms is well worth a visit. And across the street is the Center’s free garden with fascinating architectural sculptures. The recommended métro stop is Guy-Concordia, but Georges Vanier is closer if you can find the underpass under the highway.
