Does anyone know about the forthcoming re-opening of LA CAGE in Washington DC? I've heard that they're planning a re-opening launch event but not sure how far off that is.

There are rumors out there about the club re-opening soon under new management from philadelphia, but they're just rumors at this point.

 

I've heard that the liquor license hasn't even been transferred yet (the old license must be transferred if they want to have nude strippers, no new licenses can be issued for such activity).

I was in the neigborhood on Friday night (visiting Secrets/Ziegfelds), and there was no sign of activity at the former LaCage location. Since the previous tenants were accused of taking all the fixtures with them, we would likely see some signs of remodeling if any reopning were on the horizon.
