report i got from a friend of mine in tor was he heard the dancers the first night were not very many nor very good quality. he did not go the second night for that reason. supposedly it is downstairs in a basement area under a straight strip club. area its in is dingy and not attractive. i had gone on their website a month before their opening night and the cover was $20 including a complementary lap dance (lap dances 10 per song); now i see the ad you posted above has a cover charge of only $10 and lap dances $5 per song, so it sounds like they are desparate for business. according to my friend in tor who frequents rems nearly every day, sometimes including afternoon and evening visits, people were looking forward to the opening of the new bar, just for some competition to rems and seeing some new faces, but it apparently hasn't come through as a good alternative as of yet. i asked him on the phone today about it, but he had nothing new to report than what he told me about the opening weekend.

RE: Toronto Airport Area - Strip Club (from the promote...

Hi guys:

I'm the promoter for this venue and want to direct you to our website at http://www.loungestrippers.com to counter-act the opinion that we don't have many dancers or that they aren't good looking.

As with all new ventures, we had a couple of rough moments, but be patient, this is a great venue outside of the downtown area of Toronto, and we had a great December overall. We've been attracting new dancers every Monday night with our "nude newbie" amateur contest, and last Monday the place was PACKED with customers - ie: standing room only. We welcome travelling escorts who want to hang out and promote their services, they should contact me in advance if they'd like to be promoted on our website. The laws in Mississauga (which is the city this club resides in) are pretty easy-going --- basically as long as you have photo ID and are above the age of 19, you can strip for us. No expensive "burlesque entertainer" license to purchase from the city, no hassle.

Cover charges have been reduced from opening weekend - they are now $5 on Mondays, and $10 on the weekends. And VIP dances are only $10 per song. (Oh, and for those who are interested, we also have something very exclusive on Wednesdays - shemale strippers - cover charge is $40)

I've been maintaining a BLOG at http://www.loungestrippers.com/blog.html with updated photos almost every night we're open, so be patient, keep checking the blog, and come check out the Lounge if you're in the area. This club is partially inspired by my recent visit to Prague, where I spent a lot of time at "Escape" - we are trying to do something different here and I think we're finding our niche as we continue. Take care, all, and come say hi to me if you show up - I work every Monday and Friday evening.

RE: Toronto Airport Area - Strip Club - another review

i just got another charming review from a client, who even referred to our club as "wholesome" - i wanted to share it here:

I'm from out-of-town and being an older man of 62, like John's review

of December 20th, can relate to the scene from a different way despite

the fact that the large crowd was mostly younger than me. Unlike him,

however, I have not been part of the gay scene until I retired. In the

fast learning curve I've experienced in the past few years, I've been to

many gay venues both here and in the States. On the basis of 2 Monday

visits ...with a weekend one to come, I must say that the Lounge rates

very highly for its atmosphere: rather laid-back - relaxing rather than

punchy-active but still vibrant, welcoming rather than accepting,

serving rather than hustling. I've really enjoyed the dancers,

especially Justice, and wish Sirus had stuck around for a while.

The whole place seems rather wholesome...a rather strange term to use

for a gay strip joint. But people of like minds should be able to enjoy

themselves in harmony, safety and comfort. I find those here.

Chris

RE: Toronto Airport Area - Strip Club - another review

I clicked your links but I don't get your website, just a message that the site can't be found.

On a related TO note, I see that Remington's finally updated their website http://www.remingtons.com New manager and sad to say a crop of scarily unattractive dancers. What happened to that place? Do the good looking guys not want their photos online? I guess my first trip to Montreal is definitely in order. :-)

our website was down for 24 hours this weekend, sorry - you can check the link again to see it, we have tons of photos of our dancers and hopefully you don't have to drive all the way to Montreal - check us out again http://www.loungestrippers.com
